The Chase star Jenny Ryan has revealed whether fans should expect any new episodes of spin-off series Beat The Chasers.

The quizzer spoke exclusively to The Mirror about what's ahead for the hit ITV quiz show, as well as teasing if more episodes of The Chase were being planned. The Chase airs weeknights, and sees one quizzer take on four contestants with them having to answer questions to raise and then win some money.

Hosted by Bradley Walsh, Jenny is one of six Chasers who appear on the series. The newer edition of the franchise Beat The Chasers has only had a few series, while both editions often have a celebrity special too.

With Beat The Chasers, one contestant at a time must take on all six Chasers, or at least more than one of them, in order to win particular amounts of money. Answering questions correctly and quickly are key to both series, and they have both proven popular with viewers.

But after a new series of Beat The Chasers aired just weeks ago with a celebrity edition, are there more episodes on the way? Chaser Jenny has now confirmed the future of the hit series, telling The Mirror what was on the cards.

Hinting there were new episodes of The Chase on the way, she also confirmed Beat The Chaser would also be back on screens within months, and that there were more epic celebrity editions on the way. Jenny teased viewers should give them a watch, admitting there were some big wins for both the players and the Chasers.

She told us of whether both series will continue: "I really hope so. We have got some fresh episodes of Beat The Chasers waiting to go out, so hopefully in the next couple of months you will get to see those.

"There's lots of great celebrities taking part and some really, really good results, both in our favour and in their favour. But I won't spoil anything. We love it, it's enjoyable and it's fun."

Jenny also discussed how different the series were, saying: "It's a really tough one because they are so different. You've got the razzle dazzle of Beat The Chasers and all six of us are there and so it makes it a really intense experience, and then with the daytime Chase it's just my show, so I get an hour to myself.

But it is lovely to do two different shows in the same world, The Chase cinematic universe is expanding and I'm so thrilled to be a part of it."

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.* Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on , , , , , and .
