Liverpool are set to be without Trent Alexander-Arnold after he suffered a recurrence of the knee injury which sidelined him for three weeks last month.
Conor Bradley is expected to replace Alexander-Arnold, having now returned to training after being given time off to mourn the death of his father. Alisson and Joe Gomez are also in contention to start, having missed the Burnley game through illness.
Salah, meanwhile, could make his first start since New Year's Day after picking up a hamstring injury while away at the Africa Cup of Nations. Brentford are set to be without Bryan Mbeumo, Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey and Josh Dasilva, who are all sidelined through injury.
