  • You can pre-order the newest devices on the Apple store, here

The devices are available to pre-order as we speak and anyone who does will get delivery from when the devices become available to buy in-store - which is this coming March 8 2024. Prices start at £1,099 and rise depending on the specs and features you pick.

And we have all the details. The 256GB M3 MacBook Air costs the lowest £1,099 price, next up is the 512GB device at £1,299, while there is also an upgraded model of the 512GB device with a bigger 16GB of Unified Memory which costs £1,499. So, what do the newest devices offer?

Our technology editor Dave Snelling has all the details, with details on how the M3 chip can transform editing speeds, give longer battery life and faster downloads. While covering the news of Apple's newest launch he said: "Both are powered by the firm's latest and greatest M3 processor which makes them up to 60 percent quicker than the previous Air with the M1 chip.

"That extra oomph should help make photo and video editing smoother whilst using less power as the M3 brain is also highly efficient. Apple is promising users could see up to 18 hours of battery life before needing a refill. Owners will also see faster downloads thanks to improved Wi-Fi 6E technology tucked inside."

Other pro's of the M3 tech will allow gaming fans to experience more accurate reflections, lighting and shadows which is all down to the new hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing specs.

Upcoming Apple launches this 2024

A look at Apple's launch history shows we could be in for even more device launches any day from now. March is the date eager Apple fans, and with the MacBook Air upgrade available to buy from March 8 we could see more towards the end of the month.

It comes as Apple news site MacRumours give insight on the three new products we could see. As it explains: "Two redesigned iPad Pro models are in the works with 11.1 and 13-inch OLDED displays.... and a new Apple Pencil.

"In 2024, Apple plans to introduce two iPad Air models. The iPad Air models will be more affordable than the iPad Pro models, without some of the 'Pro' features. The new iPad Air will reportedly come in two different sizes, a 10.9-inch option and 12.9-inch.

This is yet to be officially confirmed by Apple, but a look at previous launches shows they're not wrong to cling on to the spring date. Last year Apple surprised eager iPhone shoppers with an upgraded version of its then brand-new iPhone 14, launching the handset in a brand-new colourway - Signature Yellow.

Will there be a new iPhone 15?

Technically speaking yes, Apple's flagship iPhone 15 range is likely to see another model added to its fleet and while it's internal processor, speeds, screen size and performance may not differ it's a fun upgrade that'll give shoppers an added choice of colour options. This time last year Apple revealed the striking Signature Yellow.

If Apple's previous signature yellow colourway isn't enough proof that we could be seeing a new iPhone 15 colour then you can also track back to the iPhone 13, and its alpine green launch in March 2022. At the time Apple stated: "The new alpine green iPhone 13 Pro and green iPhone 13 will be available for pre-order this Friday, March 11, with availability starting Friday, March 18.."

Here at Mirror Tech we covered the newer 2023 iPhone launch extensively, as retailers like Sky Mobile, O2, and EE became some of the first to drop UK contract deals.
