Superman legend Dean Cain says he doesn't want aging Joe Biden re-elected because America will "still be in the same mess we've been in for the last three years".

The actor feels the 81-year-old "isn't fit" to hold office and wasn't when he replaced Donald Trump after being elected the 46th president of the United States in 2020. His comments come following a recent Department of Justice report which claimed Biden has "diminished faculties" and "poor memory".

He responded to suggestions of his waning cognitive ability and claimed he is the "most qualified person in this country" to be President, vowing to "finish the job I started". According to a recent poll, 86 per cent of Americans think Biden is now too old to serve another term.

Appearing on GBN America, former actor Cain told host Patrick Christys that it is time Biden rule came to a close and says that "everybody knows he is old" to do the job. Biden became rattled during a press conference this week and fumed: "My memory is fine, I know what the hell I’m doing".

But Cain doesn't agree and told the host: "I didn't think he was fit to begin with. He has flashes of lucidity of that nature, but I think everybody knows he's old and he's senile.

"Bless him, he's lived a long and and very, very good life I'm sure. But to be running the free world, I don't think he is fit for it."

Cain went on: "I don't think he's really the one doing it anyway. He's more of a a figurehead up there. I think there's the cabal of people behind him who prop him up, these puppet masters, and they're the ones pulling all the strings." Predicting the candidates for the November election, the actor says he hopes the Democrats "choose someone else" to run in the 2024 campaign.

He went on: "It's something Vivek Ramaswamy keeps harping on about, the people who we elect to run the government should be the ones running the government. I don't feel like Joe Biden is, and I certainly hope that he does not get re-elected because it'll be the same mess we've been in for these last three years."

With the US Presidential election looming ever closer, concerns have once again surfaced about his competency and his mental agility to continue as President. It comes after Biden was spotted shuffling around behind the podium as the King of Jordan gave a speech at the White House, seeming unsure of where he should be standing.

It's believed President Biden was searching for a marker to indicate where he should be standing as he wandered around, staring at the ground during King Abdullah II of Jordan's speech. This incident took place just days after special counsel Robert Hur decided not to recommend criminal charges against Biden for his handling of classified White House documents.

The decision not to recommend charges against Biden was made partly as a jury may view him as an "elderly man with a poor memory" after Biden struggled to recall the years he served as Vice President to Barack Obama or even when his late son Beau Biden died, according to Hur's report.
