Molly Smith has suggested on Love Island: All Stars that she doesn't plan to get back with her ex-partner Callum Jones, and some viewers are disappointed over the news.

Thursday night's episode of the ITV2 show saw some of the islanders receive video calls from loved ones back in the UK. Molly, 29, got to speak to her close pal Sophie whilst in the villa, which is located in South Africa, and was seen in tears on the call, which gave her the chance to see her dog Nelly.

The conversation included discussion about Callum, 27. Molly and Callum met on the sixth series of Love Island, which aired in 2020. The continued their relationship after being dumped from the villa but it was announced last year that they had split up after around three years together.

They were intially coupled-up on spin-off All Stars but have since pursued romances with other islanders. Molly is now coupled-up with Tom Clare, 24, whilst Callum is partnered with Jess Gale, 24, in the villa, with just days until the final.

Some fans have hoped that Molly and Callum would get back together whilst in the villa again. She however appeared to dismiss the possibility whilst on the video call with her pal Sophie on the latest episode of the ITV2 show.

Whilst discussing Tom, Sophie said: "I think he's really nice. He's proper like giving you reassurance. I feel like a lot of the side of Callum that he didn't do, Tom has made up for." Molly agreed, with her commenting: "It's someone that kind of like is doing the things that I've wanted from someone."

And asked if the "chapter is fully closed" with her ex Callum, Molly said: "Yeah. I think obviously it's nice to see him so happy and I'm obviously happy with Tom. [...] I don't think we would ever have got to this point if we didn't come in here."

Sophie went on to share that some fans have been rooting for a reconcilation between Molly and her ex, telling her: "I will say, people of the UK wanted you and Callum back together." The islander laughed and questioned: "What?" Sophie said: "It's been intense. Everyone is obsessed."

Molly had already taken the opportunity to reassure Jess earlier in the episode following the latter's own video call. She told Jess: "I don't want you to think that there's anything like going on behind ... cause there's genuinely not."

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday night to react to Molly's comments. A number of viewers expressed disappointment that she dismissed the prospect of reconciling with her ex-partner Callum in the episode.

One person tweeted: "Heartbroken, feel like there's no Molly & Callum reunion." Another said: "Brb gonna sob my heart out over Molly saying it's completely over w Callum." A third person wrote: "I don't think there's hope unfortunately."

Alongside crying emojis, someone wrote: "Molly and Callum are done done. It's time to move on now." Whilst someone said: "Okay Molly confirmed it, the Molly and Callum chapter is closed…SOBBING CRYING SCREAMINT THROWING UP."

"Nah this episode was basically love island saying Callum and Molly are never getting back together," said one viewers. Another wrote alongside a broken heart emoji: "Molly has officially closed the chapter on her and Callum reuniting." One fan said: "Damn so the Callum Molly storyline fully has no happy ending."

The sneak peek at Friday night's episode showed Tom being told that the public are "backing Callum and Molly getting back together". It's observed in the teaser that he looks "fuming" and fans are waiting to see how it unfolds.

Love Island: All Stars continues tomorrow on ITV2 and ITVX from 9pm. Catch up on previous episodes of the show through the streaming platform now. The series is set to conclude on Monday evening with its final.
