Lorraine fans confused as she appears on This Morning after missing her own show
Lorraine Kelly's absence from her ITV programme has continued to baffle viewers as she skipped her chat show this morning - only to appear on This Morning hours later.
The broadcaster presents her self-titled programme on weekdays after Good Morning Britain but over the past few days she has been noticeably absent. When Kelly, 64, is not presenting the programme, viewers often see Ranvir Singh or Christine Lampard step into her shoes.
Since she launched her programme 2010, Lorraine covered Monday to Thursday until 2014, she then presented five days per week. But this year, she made the decision to revert to working Monday to Thursday. She also takes every school holiday off, with her stand-ins taking over.

The host is currently off presenting duties in the half-term holidays.
The move continues to leave viewers baffled as Lorraine's daughter Rosie is now 30 years old and left school soe time ago. Confused fans have since created an account on X, formerly known as Twitter titled 'Where is Lorraine?' which has racked up an impressive 11,000 followers with many anticipating daily updates on Kelly's whereabouts.

On Thursday (February 15), the account holder revealed that Lorraine has presented just 24 out of 33 episodes of her show, equating to 72.7%. Sharing a clip of Ranvir Singh on the programme, they said: "Lorraine Kelly did not host her own show this morning with Ranvir Singh stepping in #Lorraine has hosted 24 episodes out of 33 (72.7%) this year, Ranvir has hosted 5 and Christine Lampard has hosted 4."
Just hours later, it appeared that Lorraine was a guest on This Morning which is filmed just meters away from her own studio, despite not fronting her own show. The account penned: "BONUS LORRAINE. After failing to appear on her own show for five consecutive episodes, Lorraine Kelly is a guest on today's #ThisMorning, which is filmed in the same building as #Lorraine."
Her appearance has sent fans wild, with many taking to X to share their thoughts. One penned: "I enjoyed her being asked.. 'Where do you find the time to write the book?'" A second went on to type: "Now that's like phoning in sick then going to the pub outside the office."
"Should be Lorraine (and Friends)," tweeted a third, before a fourth went on to add: "Showing up to the same studio where your show is filmed to appear on the show that airs immediately after yours - for which you didn't turn up - is SO fucking funny. I'm also sick of showing up to work, I NEED to learn her evil ways."
Lorraine airs weekdays from 9.30am on ITV.
