Inside luxury £34million doomsday bunkers which can survive deadly nuclear war
Over the past few months, Russian president Vladimir Putin has threatened Europe with nuclear war on several occasions.
Now, an engineering and development company specialising in ultra-luxury underground residences has launched its very own set of doomsday bunkers just incase Putin declares war on the West.
Bunkers have been designed by Swiss business Oppidum and the huge fortified underground spaces will cost an eye-watering £34 million.
Called The Futurist, the lavish underground residences are blast proof and have an air lock with built-in decontamination chamber as well as their own self-contained energy and air supplies.
A vault is also a part of the fortified bunkers and allows owners to store art masterpieces, gold, cash and other valuable items should they feel the need to.

Owners can opt for an indoor pool inside their bunker (Oppidum / SWNS)In an effort to make the bunkers more homely, they are kitted out with a fireplace, handmade tapestries and wood panelling to ensure that life continues "uninterrupted" in the event of "disruption".
The layout of the modern bunker is tailored to "the most powerful individuals in the world" and acts as a gallery to display and protect valuable fine art.

Architect Marc Prigent designed Futurist with the emphasis on modernity, with the designs likened to a “modern-day castle with a pleasing, minimalist contemporary approach”.
The founder of Oppidum, Jakub Zamrazil, added: “While protection and comfort are absolute necessities, Oppidum also recognises that life is about much more than perfect security.
