Prince Harry thinks that instead of people focusing on the fact he and wife Meghan Markle used their royal titles on their new website, Sussex.com, people should instead be focusing on the King's ailing health.

He and Meghan came under fire this week from critics after they referred to themselves as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the new site, which has replaced the now-defunct SussexRoyals.com.

Some critics believed it was boastful to still use the titles despite them both having stepped away from being senior royals in January 2020. The pair also decided to include their coat of arms on the site, which raised some eyebrows.

Their children's names on the website also "surprised" some, with Archie, four, and Lilibet two, adopting the surname Sussex, since their grandad King Charles III's Coronation, with the website reflecting as such.

They are also referred to as "Prince" and "Princess" on the site in a move that has surprised some. But Harry and Meghan, who are currently in Vancouver, Canada for a three-day Invictus Games event, have brushed off the criticism and think everyone's energies should be focused elsewhere.

A royal insider told The Times: "It isn’t any sort of problem for the rest of the royal family. It hasn’t even been part of a conversation. Harry is more concerned about the health and wellbeing of the King and Kate and thinks that is where the focus should be.“There certainly hasn’t been any problem raised about the use of a coat of arms by anyone at the royal household — why would they object when it’s perfectly normal and is pretty routine?

"Lots of people are familiar with the Duchy of Cornwall products in the shops and there are about 800 companies using the royal warrant coat of arms for commercial reason."

Elsewhere on the website, readers can learn more about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their individual 'about me' pages. The Duke is referred to as a "humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate, and environmental campaigner".

It goes on to say that he has "dedicated his adult life to advancing causes that he is passionate about and that advance permanent change for people and places".

Meghan's page meanwhile says that the former Suits actress is "a feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity". It continues to state: "Her lifelong advocacy for women and girls remains a constant thread in her humanitarian and business ventures."
