Love Island viewers 'stressed out' as they spot Georgia's rue feelings for Anton
Love Island star Georgia Harrison broke down in tears after she was forced to defend her romance during Wednesday night's episode.
Georgia was left visibly upset by the opinions of her fellow Islanders following a brutal comment from series one star Josh Ritchie, who is currently coupled up with Sophie Piper. It comes after Anton Danyluk was left confused about where he stood with Georgia after she distanced herself from him in recent days. It became a clear issue for Anton who struggled with their lack of physical touch. However, after a chat, the pair were eventually able to clear the air.
But that hadn't stopped their friends from pouring scorn on their relationship during the 'Couple of Sorts' challenge. Josh put Georgia Harrisons' name forward as the person he believed was a 'game player' in the villa. After their fallout, Georgia pulled Anton to the side to reveal how she felt. The Scottish lad had to reassure her after the game and insisted she ignore their comments.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person wrote: "Georgia H is afraid of being hated. Hence why she stuck with Anton. And know she’s done it and is still getting the comments it has got to her. Bless her she should stay true to herself."
Another person chimed in: "I feel so bad for Georgia H, it does seem like just a difference in love languages. It would be horrible if she loses something good because of negative opinions." A third person commented: "Anton is trying so hard it’s breaking my heart." A fourth person said: "Georgia H is stressing me out."

A furious fan took aim at Josh and said: "Josh sometimes you need to just s*** **. Your opinions aren’t helping anyone. Yes sometimes being honest matters but equally sometimes you need to just keep quiet."
Anton had to reassure Georgia following a fallout with their fellow Islanders (ITV)Later in the episode, Georgia and Anton decided they should call everyone around the fire pit to discuss and defend their relationship. Georgia told them: "We just wanted to have an open chat. Obviously we are, what we would assume to be, all close mates here but I’d like to think that everyone who has a negative or strong opinion on our relationship, instead of just saying it behind our back, they’d say it to our face," whilst Anton agreed about the state of their romance, insisting it was in a good place.
"Apparently there is a lot of the Villa that feel a certain way about our relationship, which is news to us," he added. Josh then replied to share: "I feel like a lot of the people in the Villa do think that," whilst Tom said: "I do feel like at first a lot of us boys did say to Anton, don’t go back. We did say that and Anton stuck by his word and went with you and I take my hat off to him.”
Josh then went on to say: "Everybody’s had something to say. If you pull me around the firepit to try and out me like this…I am not gonna sit here and be made to look like a dick," with Georgia adding that she needs to tell them how she feels, sharing: "What am I meant to do? Just walk around thinking that everyone thinks that we’re fake and ingenuine."
