Valentine's Day is the most romantic day of the year - but are you ready for love?

Whatever you've got planned for today, it's the designated day of romance. Whether you've bought your sweetheart a dozen red roses, or you're going to cook them a delightful meal, it doesn't matter - it's the thought that counts. Depending on what you spot first in this image will determine whether you're in a lonely, or a loving mood this February 14. Some people are hopeless romantics, and some are more cynical when it comes to love, and this fun optical illusion from Hopes Grove Nurseries will determine whether or not you're ready for the L word. So, what do you see first when you look at the image?

Did you see a face, or a nature landscape first? According to behavioural experts, if you see a face first, you may be more likely to be in a sociable, loving mood. If you spotted the trees first, you might be feeling more detached and looking for alone time this Valentine's Day.

If you see a face, you may want to arrange a date with your beloved, or if you're single, you may want to sort out a fun meal with pals. If you see the trees, you may want to curl up and read a book this February 14, and take some time to think about what you really want from your relationships.

A spokesperson from Hopes Grove Nurseries said: "With the UK about to celebrate Valentine's Day, we wanted to create this fun optical illusion brainteaser to get people in the romantic spirit. We've taken inspiration from ink blot tests such as the Rorschach test, used as a way of analysing people's personality, characteristics and mood. If you see a beautiful face first, you might be feeling more sociable and loving than if you see the trees first. We can't wait to find out what people see first - Happy Valentine's Day!"

If you want more fun, why not attempt to spot the strawberry among the watermelons? Or, if you're up for something a little more tricky, you can try to spot the animal within the zig-zag image. Or, see whether you have a 'highly intelligent mind' by working out the next number in the baffling maths sequence.
