Meghan Markle spent a year working as a briefcase girl on Deal or No Deal, but there's no mention of that part of her career on her brand new website.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched their new platform overnight and it features plenty of information about their work. Meghan's about page focuses on her work championing human rights and gender equality, as well as her time studying in Argentina.

The website also mentions her time on the hit legal series Suits, which she starred in for seven seasons. Meghan's podcast Archetypes and her experience as an author are also featured on the new platform, but she's stayed quiet about her work on Deal or No Deal. The snub comes after Meghan slammed the show for reducing her to the role of a "bimbo".

Speaking about her entertainment work, the website reads: "After graduation, Meghan turned her focus to the entertainment industry, later securing a lead role on the hit series, 'Suits' which she starred in for seven seasons. Between filming, Meghan travelled to Rwanda, India, and other countries to support humanitarian missions.

"She served in key roles such as: UN Women's Advocate for Women’s Political Participation and Leadership, a World Vision Global Ambassador, and a leading Counsellor to One Young World. Meghan also travelled to support the military community on a USO Tour, visiting six military bases in seven days including Bagram, Afghanistan."

The Duchess of Sussex appeared on Deal or No Deal between 2006 and 2007 and has since slammed the show for making her feel "objectified on the stage". During an episode of her podcast Archetypes, Meghan explained how the women were told to wear false eyelashes and hair extensions.

She said they were also given spray-tan vouchers to fit "a very cookie-cutter idea of precisely what we should look like." Meghan claimed: "It was solely about beauty and not necessarily about brains."

Lucas Green, chief content officer at entertainment company Banjay, disagreed with Meghan's claims and said Deal or No Deal is always "modernising". "We are constantly evolving the format so that it isn't the same show it was fifteen plus years ago.

"A lot of work goes into modernising our formats to ensure they represent our values as a company and wider society. The UK version for example, will continue to use members of the public from all walks of life to open the boxes [instead of models]," he told Variety.

Speaking about her time on Deal or No Deal, Meghan did admit she was grateful for the job giving her a leg up in her acting career. However, she quit the role over pressure to look a certain way.

Meghan revealed how one of the women who worked on the show would tell her to "suck it in" every time she went on stage and that she felt it was "all looks and little substance". Meghan said: "I was surrounded by smart women on that stage with me, but that wasn't the focus of why we were there and I would end up leaving with this pit in my stomach, knowing that I was so much more than what was being objectified on the stage."
