Linda Robson has told how she and her estranged husband of 33 years are living on different sides of their house until they can sell it.

The Loose Woman star says she and Mark Dunford have agreed to mostly keep out of each other’s way until they are able to move out and move on. Speaking at the TV Choice Awards, Linda, 65, said: “We are still in the same house. He has got his side and I have got mine and we meet in the middle sometimes. I feel all right about it. We are on good terms.

“We had 33 years together. He has been an amazing dad and we are just trying to sell the house now and we will go our own ways.” The news that the couple were splitting emerged in November, and the pair have since put their home, in London’s trendy Islington, on the market. The TV star is planning to buy herself a modest new home, explaining: “I just want a little two-bedroom house so my granddaughters can stay.”

The actress turned panellist says she has only had two relationships in her life - the first lasted for 11 years and the second, to her husband, for more than three decades - and she has no plans to replace him. Instead she plans to focus on her family and grandchildren and has already turned down one potential suitor.

“I am not really interested in finding another guy. I have had two loves of my life - I don’t want any more. I did get asked out for a date a couple of months ago, but I declined.”

Linda, who has been on the ITV daytime show for the past 20 years, also insisted that her colleagues Janet Street-Porter and Jane Moore would not quit over an ongoing row about their contracts.

She said reports that the pair were off-screen because of a fallout with bosses was “a load of rubbish” and that their absences were down to them each taking a break. "Janet has had a couple of weeks away, and Jane has had all her own stuff with her column and other bits, and she's off walking somewhere.”

She said was hoping for a big celebration of the show’s 25th anniversary later this year. “I hope they go big and make a big fuss of us all, that would be nice. I've been there for 20 years and it's 25 years old.”
