KSI and The Sidemen sat down to discuss their 'legacy' and career in their upcoming documentary film coming to Netflix.

The film, coming out on 14 February, explores the group's success over the last decade and follows their rise to fame, fallouts and highlights, as well as mental health, charity work, and how they transformed content creation into a multi-million-pound business with loyal fans.

Titled The Sidemen Story, the film will include archival footage and on-camera interviews. Members of the group include Ethan Payne (Behzinga), Harry Lewis (W2S), Joshua Bradley (Zerkaa), Olajide "JJ" Olatunji (KSI), Simon Minter (Miniminter), Tobit "Tobi" Brown (TBJZL) and Vikram "Vik" Barn (Vikkstar123).

One moment of the film has the men sitting around a table discussing their careers and what motivated them to keep going. KSI said: "For me, it's always legacy." Vik continued: "I mean, deep down we've worked so hard to get to the top that..." with KSI interrupting to add: "we don't want to let it go."

The men talked about how Harry always jokes about 'stopping tomorrow' before asking him why he hasn't. Harry explained that he 'still enjoys' being a part of it even though he is 'close' to wanting to leave.

When Harry asked everyone what they were doing, KSI explained: "I see YouTube as the core, the heart. Without YouTube, everything dies... I wouldn't be able to box, I wouldn't be able to do music without YouTube. So I always feel like I have to post content there to make sure everything thrives."

Vik recently discussed the upcoming documentary film and said: "We’ve always tried to be open and honest about the highs and lows we’ve faced. What began as friends coming together to create fun content has evolved into so much more & shaped who we are as individuals today.

"Our success isn’t measured in streaming numbers or likes; it’s about the connections we’ve built with fans and the real moments we’ve shared along the way. We look forward to sharing a glimpse into the laughter, challenges, and teamwork that defines the Sidemen spirit.”

The group have five YouTube channels, including Sidemen, MoreSidemen, SidemenReacts, SidemenShorts and Sidemen en Español. They also sell merchandise, released a book, launched a restaurant chain and sold vodka known as XIX vodka.
