Paddy McGuinness and his estranged wife Christine have been praised by fans for sharing a cute family moment in their shared home - despite the fact the pair are currently going through a divorce.

Model Christine, 35, and comedian Paddy, 50, split almost two years ago but continue to live in the same house as they parent their three children who all live with Autism. Christine recently admitted their situation is unusual and before their Christmas celebrations at the end of last year, she revealed the former couple 'have to move on'.

However, former Take Me Out presenter Paddy and Christine - who announced their split in 2022 after 11 years of marriage - seem to be closer than ever if Paddy's latest Instagram offering is anything to go by. The TV star shared a cute moment between the pair as he posted a photo of their feet touching while sitting back and watching TV.

Alongside the photo, Paddy quipped: "Strong high arch game in our house but there can be only one! Who takes the crown and the Pes Cavus bragging rights? Mum or Dad? School boy error leaving my socks on."

In the comments, fans flocked to praise Paddy and Christine for their healthy relationship despite their split as they continue to live together for the sake of their three young children. One Instagram user commented: "You both have such a lovely relationship regardless of whether it is just as parents or as husband and wife which is no one else's business. But credit to both of you for ensuring the children are not caught between either parent but is both of your priorities. you are a lovely family."

"You two are such an amazing example for your children. Whatever you do, kids come first and you two are freaking winning," another echoed. While someone else wrote: "Lovely to see the two of you still sharing moments like this. You are both amazing and such good parents to your beautiful children."

However, after living a seemingly perfect life with their three young children, Paddy could now face a potentially very expensive divorce battle with Christine. It has been reported Paddy is going up against a celebrity divorce lawyer branded a 'pitbull', and Christine has warned the "gloves are off" and that it will be an "expensive divorce".

Yet the pair are still living under the same roof. Christine has now shared why the former couple have decided to live together, admitting it is for their children. Paddy and Christine share 10-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and Felicity, seven, who are all autistic.

Speaking to The Sun this week, she revealed: "It’s the one thing that we completely agree on – the children’s needs come first. We don’t want them to be affected by anything. Patrick’s diary is busy, as it always is, so he very much dips in and out of the home, because he’s working away a lot."

Christine admitted it is the "same as when I was his wife" as she supports the children when Paddy is out at work. She said when he comes home, she then "tries to put some of her work in". The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star insisted it doesn't affect their children as they can stay in the one home and have their beds and routine.

It has been reported that Christine is hoping to continue living in the former couple's £4million mansion. Lawyer Catherine Bedford, 52, who worked with Ant McPartlin's ex-wife Lisa Armstrong in their divorce settlement, is supposedly due to represent Christine. Ms Bedford was previously described as a 'Pitbull attorney' in American media.

Her famous clients include Game Of Thrones icon Sophie Turner in her split from Joe Jonas and Dubai royalty Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in his case against Princess Haya bint Hussein. It comes as Christine recently revealed she has been "trying to carve out" a career for her children following her split from Paddy. She said her main focus for this year will be her three kids as she adapts to being a single mum.
