David and Victoria Beckham's fans were quick to praise them after the couple appeared in an Uber Eats commercial for the Super Bowl.

The 48-year-old football star and his Spice Girl wife, 49, were in the advert alongside the likes of Friends icons Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, Usher, and singer Jelly Roll. The creative advert played on the fun premise that to remember what kinds of things Uber Eats delivers, you have to forget something else and 'make a little room in your brain'.

After ordering from the delivery company, the stars forget significant things and people in their lives. Jennifer forgot who her co-star David was while David and Victoria couldn't remember the name of the girl group she was in. The Beckhams stood in their kitchen as David said to his wife: "Remember when you used to be a Pepper Lady?"

Posh Spice, who wore a shirt that had the phrase 'David's wife' written on it, responded: "Wasn't it the Cinnamon Sisters?" David was unconvinced and said: "Basil Babes?" before Victoria assumed: "Paprika Girls". The two couldn't figure it out and David ended up saying: "No, that's absurd."

Fans rushed to social media to comment on how David and Victoria were their favourite part of the entire Super Bowl. One user said: "My favourite couple Victoria and David Beckham on the #SuperBowl ads. Truly keeps giving!" while another: "I hope everyone else is also still laughing about David Beckham asking if Victoria used to be pepper girl lol."

One fan commented: "The David & Victoria Beckham bit was the best part for me' while another viewer posted: "Avoiding Victoria Beckham’s Instagram so her Uber eats Super Bowl ad isn’t spoiled for me." One dedicated user even stayed up just to watch the advertisements.

"Staying up to watch the Super Bowl is the straightest thing I’ve ever done," they commented. "Staying up to watch the Super Bowl in case they drop the Wicked trailer, to see Victoria Beckham in an ad and in case Usher takes his top off is the gayest thing I’ve ever done."

Victoria previously teased the Uber Eats ad in a different video which saw her wearing a shirt with the words 'My Dad Had a Rolls-Royce' on it - referencing the hilarious moment from David's documentary which saw him tell the singer to be 'honest' about her middle-class upbringing.

"So David and I are gonna be in a little commercial," she said in the teaser video. David said: "Super, big, baseball game" and Victoria quickly added: "Oh was it the Hockey Bowl?" David then agreed that it was before the teaser clip ended.
