Brianna Ghey's heartless killer Scarlett Jenkinson has reportedly bragged about her 'fame' in prison after drawing up a second 'kill list'.

On February 11, 2023, Brianna, 16, was lured to her death by Jenkinson and her pal, Eddie Ratcliffe, who harrowingly formed a 'murder plan' together and executed it in Culcheth Linear Park in Warrington, Cheshire. Brianna was stabbed 28 times in broad daylight by the evil pair, previously referred to as Girl X and Boy Y due to legal reasons.

After a lengthy trial at Manchester Crown Court, Jenkinson and Ratcliffe were found guilty of murdering the young girl and jailed for life. Jenkinson, who is currently held at Adel Beck Secure Children's Home in Leeds, was given a minimum term of 22 years before parole and will be transferred to an adult prison when she turns 18.

Whilst awaiting trial, Jenkinson was allegedly caught boasting about how famous she was, and expressed her disturbing pride in her killing. The warped teen, who was fascinated by notorious serial killers, reportedly laughed after Googling her murder and gleefully declared: "I know how famous I am".

A source at the secure unit where Jenkinson is housed told The Sun: "Before she was found guilty at trial she wasn't publicly identified in the media but she Googled her name and found people talking about her. She loved the idea of fame. It was one of the only times I saw genuine emotion from her. She was proud of what she did. It was chilling."

The killer is said to have dismissed the agony of her victim's parents and told shocked staff at her young offenders' institution: "They don't mean anything to me." Asked if she felt regret, she reportedly replied: "I did for two hours. Now I don't give a f***." Making a chilling threat for the future, she apparently added: "I'd do it again". The source also claimed Jenkinson asked staff to buy her a book on serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who killed and dismembered his victims.

Earlier this month, it was reported Jenkinson admitted for the first time to stabbing Brianna herself. Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC told the court: "She said Eddie had thrown Brianna to the floor and stabbed her three or four times then he panicked and said he did not want to kill her, so she carried on and stabbed her a number of times. When asked how many, she answered, 'A lot'. She was satisfied and excited by what she was doing."

Ms Heer said Jenkinson was examined by a consultant forensic psychiatrist who concluded she did not have a mental illness but presented with a severe "conduct dissocial disorder with limited pro-social emotions". Jurors were told it was "difficult to fathom" how the two child defendants could carry out such a disturbing crime.

At Jenkinson and Ratcliffe's sentencing on February 2, Judge Justice Yip said Brianna was killed with "exceptional brutality". Mrs Yip told the court: "Your motivation Scarlett was to act out our fantasies. The messages show you wanted to make a real victim feel pain and fear."

The court also heard how Jenkinson drew up a second 'kill list' of staff at the secure youth accommodation. Referring to Jenkinson, Ms Heer told the court: "Another kill list was found at the secure unit which refers to names of people caring for her." She concluded: "In Scarlett's case, she knew what she was doing was wrong and she knew it was very wrong."

The disturbed teen had drawn up a first 'kill list' of five people she and Ratcliffe deemed worthy of murder over insignificant or minor dislikes. Transgender schoolgirl Brianna represented an easy kill. Jenkinson told Ratcliffe people knew Brianna was depressed and anxious and first tried to murder her with an overdose of tablets.

Jenkinson, while aged 14, downloaded a TOR internet browser app, to watch videos of the torture and murder of real people, in "red rooms" on the "dark web". She made notes on the killers' methods and admitted enjoying "dark fantasies" about killing and torture, the trial heard.

She had been asked to leave her school, Culcheth High, over an incident involving cannabis and joined Brianna's school, Birchwood High, and quickly became "obsessed" with her. Jenkinson told Ratcliffe she wanted to stab Brianna "jus coz its fun lol... I want to see the pure horror on her face and hear her scream".

Her dark fantasy became a reality when Jenkinson told Brianna to catch the bus to meet her in the park - and reminded Ratcliffe to bring his hunting knife. Jenkinson had talked about "trophies" taken during killing plans and took a last photo of Brianna on her phone in the park.

Then at around 3pm, Brianna was "stabbed and stabbed and stabbed" in a "frenzied and ferocious" attack. At 4.02pm, she was pronounced dead at the scene. In the aftermath of Brianna's murder, Jenkinson and Ratcliffe "feigned ignorance" and created matching "false defences", Ms Heer told the court.

Within 24 hours, officers identified the suspects and found the knife and blood-soaked clothes in Ratcliffe's bedroom, and the 'murder plan' in Jenkinson's, which had a love heart and smiley face doodled on the top corner of the page.

Under arrest, Jenkinson laughed 17 times during her account to police detectives. "I'm good at hiding stuff and playing the victim," she had told Ratcliffe.

Brianna's mum, Esther Ghey, and loved ones held a vigil one year on from the killing on Saturday and flowers, candles, and a painting of the teen were laid in Warrington. Esther emotionally told the crowd: "I will be forever thankful that I was able to spend 16 years with Brianna, she taught me so much and gave me so much peace and love."
