The resident slammed their neighbour's parking

A disgruntled homeowner has left people baffled after showing just how close their neighbour parks to their house.

Parking rows aren't uncommon on busy streets when there's no assigned spaces, and sometimes it can get pretty tight. But one driver took things to a whole new level when they decided to park right outside their neighbour's door - making it a struggle for them to even leave their front door.

The infuriated resident shared evidence of just how close to his doorway the resident had parked with a photo taken just inside their doorway. In the snap, it appeared the neighbour had parked on a shared driveway, leaving the smallest space for the homeowner to get out.

However, it would likely be a tight squeeze for anyone with a bike, pram, mobility scooter or the like. "This is how our dentist neighbours park. Struggled to get outside without kicking his car but made it," read the title of the post, shared to Reddit. Annoyed, the post's writer added: "Next time I won't be that gentle."

However, not everyone agreed the complaint was fair, and the post proved to be divisive in the comment section. On the one hand, several people shared the resident's anger. "I'd accidentally fall into it," read one cheeky reply.

Another suggested: "Leave a note, if it still happens then take a run up in your hall and start rolling over the bonnet." And a third person, who also took the homeowner's side, said: "Usually i would say get it towed but are you even allowed to do that here?"

But someone else thought: "There seems to be plenty of room to get by, just not comfortably." A different commenter said: "Get a bus through there to be fair."

And another response read: "You struggled to get through that 3 foot walking space?" "Have you ever heard of a sidestep? They are quite useful in 'tight' spaces," they advised.
