TV presenter Holly Willoughby is known for her elegant and colourful outfits. She inspires women across the UK with her bold maxi dresses, floral prints, and trendy court shoes, with her stylish wardrobe the envy of many.

But like many of us, she finds she has many items in her closets that she simply doesn't wear. But the former The Morning host has revealed the tactic she uses to make sure she only keeps things she loves.

Speaking to fashion expert Trinny Woodall while hosting This Morning, she said: "There is that tip when you put all of your coat hangers facing the wrong way and then after a couple of months, you can see which items you've taken out and put back the right way."

Trinny admitted she'd never heard the tip herself, but said it was a genius idea to pinpoint the clothes you should get rid of. "Holly I have never heard that before, that's genius!" she praised.

Trinny had a tip of her own, but you'll probably have to be pretty committed to your fashion to give it a go. In order to achieve maximum wear out of her wardrobe, she takes a snapshot of each outfit worn after wearing it for easy outfit inspiration on days when deciding what to wear proves taxing.

"Then you have a visual of what you have worn and what you haven't worn."

Holly made her TV return last week when she joined Stephen Mulhern to host this year's Dancing On Ice.

The presenter hasn't been on television since she decided to step down from This Morning back in October. She had presented alongside Phillip Schofield for nearly 14 years but Phil stood down after admitting to an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a younger male colleague. Bosses had reportedly hoped Holly would stay on the ITV mid-morning show but back in October, she confirmed she would be stepping down as host with immediate effect, citing family reasons.

But since being back on people's screens, fans have loved her glamorous Dancing on Ice outfits, which included a stunning bright yellow gown which she donned last week.
