This is the horror moment a Florida plane bursts into a huge fireball after killing two - with the remaining passengers seen fleeing the wreckage.

Air hostess, Sydney Ann Bosmans, 27, and passengers Aaron Baker, 35, and Audra Green, 23, were caught on camera sprinting away from the plane that crashed onto a Florida highway as it failed to make an emergency landing at Naples airport.

The plane dramatically careered into the wall of the 75 near Collier County, killing its pilot Edward Daniel Murphy, 50, and co-pilot Ian Frederick Hofmann, 65 when the plane's engines failed.

A new video from eye-witness and motorist Kyle Caaliere revealed the frantic screams of the escapee passengers. As three people ran away Kyle shouted: "Is there anybody else in there?" A woman shouted back: "Yes, yes our pilots," a woman screams back. Asked if the pilots were alive, the woman said: “I don’t know. I don’t know much else.”

Previously audio from the final moments on the plane showed the pilot saying "We're not going to make it to the runway. We lost both engines'' before crashing near Pine Ridge Road.

The clip revealed the frantic exchange between the pilot and the air controller. The pilot added: "OK, Challenger, Hop-A-Jet 823, lost both engines, emergency. I'm making an emergency landing."

It was reported that at least three were injured when the small craft was forced to make an emergency landing before reaching Naples airport. Witnesses reported seeing three people walk away from the flaming wreckage as ambulances rushed to the scene.

Despite being given clearance to land, the pilot quickly announced: "We're clear to land but we're not gonna make the runway. We've lost both engines." A heavy silence followed, then chaos ensued as air traffic control tried to reestablish contact. Another controller raised the alarm, saying: "Everybody stands by, there's an emergency in progress, everybody stands by."

A helicopter was given the green light to land at the scene of a jet crash. The jet, which had five people on board, crashed at 3:15 pm EST near mile marker 111 on the interstate. Tragically, two people were confirmed dead, but three others managed to escape the plane, according to Naples airport.

Videos shared online show the intense fire that completely engulfed the plane. Early footage showed the burning plane before emergency workers arrived. As the fire raged, bystanders left their cars and approached the wreckage, wondering how they could assist.

All southbound lanes closed, and a large-scale emergency response was underway in the area. The I-75 will be shut for at least 24 hours, affecting thousands of drivers. The Director of Communications for Naples airport confirmed in a call to NBC that three people survived the crash.
