Clever new air fryer from Shark Ninja solves big gripe with your current cooker

The air fryer revolution shows no signs of stopping with these kitchen appliances continuing to grow in popularity. Their speedy cooking and lower running price are two big reasons why UK homes have rushed out to buy one but there remains a big problem with air fryers, especially if you have a small kitchen.

Most dual devices, which allow you to cook multiple things at once, take up a huge amount of workspace as the heating chambers sit side by side.

Now a new fryer from the team at Shark Ninja aims to fix that problem. The “Double Stack” device was recently shown off at Shark Ninja’s launch event in Palma, Mallorca and it does exactly what its name suggests.

Instead of placing the cooking bays alongside one another, this new gadget stacks the baskets on top saving huge amounts of space.

Shark Ninja boasts that the Double Stack has a 30 percent smaller footprint than most standard air fryers and remains compact enough to slide under kitchen cabinets.

If you have a big family there’s more good news as this new air fryer allows for four layers of cooking, so you can feed up to eight people and six distinct functions help cook food exactly as you like it.

In fact, it can crisp, roast, bake and reheat things.

It also gets something called DUALZONE Technology which gives an added layer of customisation to your cooking, by creating two independently controlled zones with rear heat sources, for even and multi-layered cooking. This provides three different ways to cook your food:

With space to cook for up to 8 people and our DUALZONE technology built in; we’ve made your air fryer as efficient as possible. With 6 different modes of cooking, we can’t wait to see what you can cook with it.”

The new Ninja Dual Stack Air Fryer also comes in different models:

• SL300 – 7.6L capacity

• SL400 – 9.5L capacity

There’s no word on pricing or a release date just yet but expect more news in the coming weeks.
