Piranha on Masked Singer 'rumbled' days before final as band member and ITV star
The Masked Singer fans have 'worked out' exactly which singer and ITV star is under the Piranha costume.
After weeks of clues and amazing performances, fans are confident which star is under the mask just a week before the final. They even think they can go on and win the show, despite not all of the panel Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan solving their identity.
With the help of guest panellist Lorraine Kelly, the latest episode saw the panel try and figure out the voice and the star. A new set of clues teased who they might be, including possible links to Harry Potter, being nervous and bats.
As semi-finalists Cricket, Bigfoot, Air Fryer, Piranha and Eiffel Tower all took to the stage a week before the final, fans were sure they were certain on who Piranha was. Taking to X, many fans once again guessed a singer and band member, who also judges on an ITV talent show, would be revealed as the celebrity.

One viewer posted: "theory/clue as to why piranha is so scared and shy = danny jones is channeling a bit of george mcfly from back to the future since the trilogy is the reason why mcfly are called mcfly."

Another agreed: "Piranha AKA Danny Jones to win!!" A third fan posted: "Piranha is 100% Danny Jones!" as a fourth said: "How can they not recognise Danny Jones as piranha?"
It comes after a number of eliminations since the series began in December, with the first double exit airing last week. Last weekend we saw Dippy Egg unmasked as Davina’s pal Nicky Campbell in an emotional moment.
Nicky burst into tears as he performed, with Davina also crying at the sweet performance. That same night, Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton was unmasked as Maypole.
Fans guessed it was McFly star and The Voice Kids UK judge Danny Jones (ITV)Like with Nicky, none of the panel guessed Melody was under the mask, while Rita said it was obvious once she realised. The week before Melody’s unmasking, Owl was revealed to be ITV ’s Lorraine Kelly, who happened to be a guest panellist on the show in the latest episode.
Julia Sawalha was another name unmasked on the series, with her confirmed to be Bubble Tea last month. Meanwhile, Rat was unmasked as Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas a few weeks ago. Speaking about joining The Masked Singer, she said: "The worst part of performing in the costume is the head gets very hot, it feels quite claustrophobic.
“The best thing is that I’ve fallen in love with Rat and actually don’t want to leave him. I want him to be in my house! He’s a character I will hold close to my heart forever. I enjoyed my journey with Rat!"
The week prior it was revealed that Chicken Caesar was Alexander Armstrong. The TV star and comedian is known for the likes of Pointless, Armstrong and Miller and Classic FM. Explaining the slew of clues on the show, it was revealed the BRIT Award was actually the Classic BRIT Awards, which Alexander hosted.
Other clues included: "I'm a great Roman Explorer", which was a nod to presenting the documentary Rome's Invisible City. Elsewhere, "LXX is 70 in Roman numerals, a reference to Alexander's year of birth 1970", "Chicken Caesar's accent was a nod to Alexander being born in the North East" and "history and friend in the city, hinted to starring in Horrible Histories: The Movie with Kim Cattrall".
In week one, Weather unmasked as Dionne Warwick on the series. Music icon Dionne left the panel starstruck as she unveiled herself as the star under the costume.
She then shared her joy at being asked to do the series, but admitted the struggles she faced trying to disguise her voice on the show. Clues included being powerful and dominating, and weathering the storm - as well as references to Blues music.
