Louise Thompson's fiancé Ryan Libbey is preparing to welcome the TV star home after she spent agonising two weeks in hospital.

Taking to his Instagram page on Saturday, Ryan confirmed that Louise had been well enough to be discharged and that he was more than happy to see her again. Prepping for her arrival, Ryan seemingly spent the morning cleaning their enormous home and even had the time to enjoy his hobby again. The Made in Chelsea star, 33, braved the cold to skateboard after pushing his worries to one side and shared an image of himself standing atop his skateboard.

Louise - who met her husband on the popular E4 reality show - was admitted to hospital late last month following a series of health issues since giving birth to her son Leo, two. Ryan had been the one to break the news of Louise's hospitalisation on social media and fans immediately flooded his comments section to express their concerns.

They were also quick to wish her a speedy recovery. One person said: "Sending you and your beautiful family warmth and strength, hope you feel better soon dear Louise." Another person added: "What you are going through is tough, Louise, no doubt about that... However, you are Tougher young lady, just look at how far you have come and written a book. What an inspiration you are. Stay Strong, you've got this,' another commented. A third person chimed in: "I saw Ryan's story. I truly hope you're doing ok and are well. Look after yourselves."

Taking to Instagram on Monday evening, Ryan said he had taken Leo to visit Louise for the first time since she was admitted. The personal trainer, who has not disclosed why Louise is in hospital, said: 'We just got back from visiting mummy in hospital.

"That was the first time Leo has seen her for 13 days. It was a difficult, emotional, confusing experience for him but fortunately, after a few minutes Leo was cuddling up in bed with mummy singing Twinkle, twinkle little star. The video I took is probably the most precious thing I now own. Louise is recovering well. Thank you all again so much for the messages of support."

Louise has been open about complications with her health after she nearly died during her son's birth. The TV star recalled her difficult birth in 2021 and revealed her baby had spent time in the ICU. She previously confessed: "5 weeks ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy Leo-Hunter Libbey weighing in at 7lbs. Unfortunately, it wasn't the easiest start for either of us. One ended up in NICU and the other ended up in ICU.
