Ant & Dec have shared a dramatic clip on the duo's Instagram Story, showing Ant clasping his face and calling Dec "crazy", while Dec asks to have a "break".

The video was posted this morning, and features a montage of clips showing the two looking shocked and confused - with Dec saying at one point: "We are all incredibly freaked out right now!" The pair can be seen shaking their heads and shouting in astonishment. The video was posted as a plug for tonight's episode of Ant and Dec's Limitless Win on Instagram with the caption: "It's a dramatic one, don't say we didn't warn you."

Ant & Dec, both 48, co-host the game show, in which as the name suggests - there's no limit to how much contestants can win. The finale for the third series will air tonight at 8.45pm, but a fourth series has already been confirmed by ITV. Commissioned as part of a double renewal with the third series in summer 2023, the next series will air in 2025.

At the time, Dec said: "We’re bracing ourselves for another two series of high tension and nail-biting drama as more contestants take on the Limitless ladder. We’re excited to see how high they can climb now they’re so much more familiar with the show. Bring it on!"

But while the partners in crime have a wholesome front, as with all friendships, things haven't always been rosy. One time, they had a drunken clash so bad that things got physical, and they ended up scrapping.

The pair have been side-by-side since the 1990s, when they rose to fame as teens on Byker Grove, playing PJ and Duncan. They launched a music career under the names of their characters, before going on to have a career as the most successful presenting duo in UK TV. Fronting shows like Britain's Got Talent, Push the Button, SMTV Live and of course, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! the pair's prolific career has no end in sight.

In their joint book, Once Upon a Tyne: Our Story, which was released in 2020, they shared some secrets about their fallouts - which are few and far between. One happened in Spain in 1995 and the pair had to make up for their TV appearance the following morning.

They were set to appear on GMTV's Fun in the Sun with Anthea Turner, which was being filmed live in Torremolinos, Spain, where Ant and Dec where promoting their latest musical release at the time. By 10pm, after a few drinks, Dec wanted to go to bed because they had an early start the next day - but Ant wasn't ready to call it a night. In the book, Ant remembers asking Dec: "What the hell are you going to bed for?" Dec continued his "stumbling towards the lift," which Ant said "something about that incensed me and I lost it." He demanded: "Don't you dare walk away from me when I'm talking to you."

Dec started ranting at Ant, asking "who the hell does he think he was, talking to me like that?" He said Ant "was really pushing my buttons." They kept arguing in the lift. When Ant tried to make his point, Dec put his fingers in his ears and started saying: "La la la la, I can't hear you."

Ant confessed: "That made my blood boil... I punched Dec in the chest." Dec responded by trying to knock the cap off Ant's head, admitting: "I didn't quite hit the target and ended up just punching the peak of his cap." He added that "I proved Dec is rubbish at fighting when he's had a few".
