Horrifying moment ‘ghost’ kid starts loudly banging on man's door late at night
A man was left spooked after filming a terrifying encounter with a 'ghost' child at his front door in the middle of the night, which captured the moment the little boy disappeared into thin air right before him.
Diego Spyckerzs filmed the expressionless child banging on his front door as he said through a trembled whisper: “There’s a child knocking on the door.”
Video footage shows Diego slowly approaching the entrance of his house as the pounding noise continues and a little boy is seen behind the glass door. As he gets closer, the image of the boy, behind the translucent glass, becomes clearer. The man quickly unbolts the door and opens it in a swift move, but the child is suddenly nowhere to be found.
Tattoo artist Diego, from Colombia, pans the camera on either side of the dimly lit street as he breathes nervously, but the road is empty and there is no trace of the kid.
He said: “I’ve been unable to sleep for nights because in the early morning, he knocks on the door. It’s truly terrifying.”

Diego was left spooked after the encounter (Jam Press)Local, Carlos said: “When someone knocks on your door at night, don’t open it. You’re giving entry to that evil spirit into your house.”
Others shared their thoughts on the spooky encounter. Anderson added: “Getting him out of his house is going to be difficult now.”
Maria said: “You shouldn’t open the door because if you open it and don’t see anything, it’s because it’s already inside.”
Miranda wrote: “Run, don’t open it anymore. If it’s a child, some say that demons and evil spirits take on the forms of children, and then it’s very difficult to get rid of them because they want to take over your home. So, sprinkle holy water and chase it away, run away.”
Edith suggested: “Well, you should never open the door of your house at midnight in these situations. Shout, ‘What you want and why are you looking for me? Do I know you? Go away and don’t knock on my door again.' It has worked for me when they call me, but with a firm voice.” [sic]
Franciel added: “When you see that thing, throw salt or holy water.”
And a spooked Aisha said: “Dear God, this video comes up at exactly 11:58 pm. I don’t dare to even get up and open the curtain to close the window.”
