'I tried a £2.50 Morrisons' Too Good To Go bag - I was stunned when I opened it'
Whenever you just need to pop into a shop - you always seem to come out with more than you planned and can end up spending a fortune.
However, the magic Too Good To Go bags that are now widely available means you spend only a few pounds and can walk out with a bag brimming with goodies that are the 'leftovers' from the day which otherwise would have been binned. It can be a risk as you could end up with all of the things that just didn't sell well that day, but when Daily Star reporter Layla Nicholson gave the Morrisons breakfast bag a go - she was left with mixed feelings.
Going out for breakfast can be a pricey ordeal, with overpriced coffees and eyewatering costs for fancy toast, it can put many people off. So picking up a Too Good To Go bag for £2.99 from Morrisons can help save a few pennies while getting a cooked breakfast - as Layla found out.

She wrote: "On my first dive into the carrier, I grabbed hold of a paper wallet with two slices of plain white toast. That's right. Not one, but two incredibly dry-looking pieces of lightly browned bread.
I understand that the premise is to bag a deal and put the leftovers to good use, but don't deprive a girl a bit of butter. The thought of the dry crust scratching the roof of my mouth truly made me wish I kept the £2.50 in my pocket. Although, the Morrisons Market Place 'surprise' bag did have its redemption arc so fear not. And it redeemed itself pretty well I must say.

Elsewhere in the bag, lived a whole breakfast muffin filled with sausage, egg and a slice of American-style cheese – not melted though. They did not hold back on filling the muffin slices to the brim which provided a pokey out sausage and egg. There's no doubt that will fill a gob and then some! And there was more fun to come."

Layla added: "So presumably, the bread is to soak up the bean juice. However, the beans were so dry they were comparable to the Sahara. And on the topic of sandy sprawling masses, the egg looked as if it had been cooked in the desert too. Despite the fact that the egg could have seen better days, the rest of the fry-up was certainly decent. It included a rasher of bacon, a decent helping of mushrooms, three hash browns and the real winner – three sausages.
"Now, I might have been a bit harsh on the packet of plain bread and the sad fried egg but all in all what a decent spread for £2.50. According to the app, the food is worth £8. So I've definitely secured myself a bit of a bargain. Maybe I'll have to invest in some portable butter for next time."
