Zara Tindall made a cheeky passing comment during Princess Eugenie's wedding that may have caused offence, a lip reader claims.

Prince Andrew's youngest daughter married Jack Brooksbank in October 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor - the same place Prince Harry married Meghan Markle - with the moment re-emerging after the Duke returned to the UK this week.

It comes as The Mirror revealed King Charles' youngest son "plans to spend more time in England" following his father's cancer diagnosis. According to safebettingsites.com, the Duke is 6/1 to become a working royal again sometime this year. Harry is 4/1 to leave the United States and move back to the UK after what has been a tough few months for the Royal Family where both the Princess of Wales and King Charles were hospitalised.

The late Queen's granddaughter Zara, leant back as she took her seat during the televised ceremony over five years ago to jokingly compare it to the Duke of Sussex's big day - which had taken place a few months before. She is understood to have told the prince: "It's very quiet compared to the screaming at your wedding." In response, he asked: "Mine?"

Eugenie and Jack picked the same wedding venue as the Sussexes for their special day, but they were very different occasions. Despite Harry being more senior than his younger cousin, Eugenie actually had more guests, which Prince Andrew said was because his daughter has "so many friends".

Both guest lists were filled with celebrity guests, with George and Amal Clooney, Oprah Winfrey and the Beckhams joining the royals for the Sussexes' big day. Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding, Cara DeLevigne, Demi Moore, and Naomi Campbell were at Eugenie's.

Eugenie was reportedly upset at her wedding when Meghan used the occasion to tell members of the family she was pregnant. The couple told the world they were expecting their first child on the eve of their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand, but shared the happy news with close family at the evening reception.

In their book Royals at War, investigative journalists Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett claim Meghan made the decision to tell people - and it didn't go down well with Harry. They claim that it left the Duke of Sussex "embarrassed", and Princess Eugenie and her mum Sarah Ferguson "furious".

They write: "Meghan put her foot in it when she decided that it would be the ideal moment to announce that she and Harry were expecting their first child. This was a huge social gaffe, even if you were not a Royal – stealing the limelight from Eugenie, who was furious, as was her mother, Sarah."

Royal cousins Harry, Zara and Eugenie, as well as Prince William and Prince Beatrice are said to have all been so close at one stage they shared regular updates about work and family life in their shared WhatsApp group. Previously they could always be seen chatting at official royal events and enjoying private jokes together.

Harry - who along with Meghan stepped down as a working royal in 2020 to start a new life in the US - visited the UK for just 26 hours earlier this week to see his dad before he jetted back to attend an NFL event. He presented the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award at the 13th Annual NFL Honors in Las Vegas.
