James Jordan has shared that his daughter Ella is unwell again as he posted a photo on Instagram of his wife Ola, 41, sitting with their poorly baby girl.

Strictly Come Dancing star James captioned the post: "Our little girl is so sick again and we can't get to the bottom of it. She's had a high temperature for seven days now and not going away," adding that her cough is getting worse and she has an ear infection in both ears.

He also confessed how stressed he and Ola are, saying: "Poor thing. And I can't even tell you how stressed myself and Ola are. It's actually beginning to really get us down - the worry." James praised his daughter, calling her "And Ella is so fed up (but so bloody brave)."

Ella was hospitalised before Christmas and despite several tests, doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. James previously spoke about his and Ola's fear after Ella was diagnosed with a heart murmur two years ago.

The doctors have told her parents that there could be a hole in her heart. James previously revealed to HELLO: "We were told that if she does have a hole in the heart, they can't do anything until she's older and stronger, so they suggested we wait."

Back in December, Ella's parents urgently took her to hospital after she developed an "extremely high temperature". During Christmas, James, who is well-known from ITV's Dancing On Ice and Celebrity Big Brother, kept his fans informed about Ella's condition. He was flooded with messages of love and support from his followers.

The professional dancers welcomed "miracle" Ella into the world in February 2020 after struggling for years with fertility issues. Almost four years on, however, the family have been rocked by news their youngster could have a serious health condition.

Latin American specialist Ola previously recalled the "horrendous" moment they looked on as nurses put a cannula in her arm for IV fluids as James gripped her in a "bear hug" to keep her still. "As a parent you feel so helpless with your child so ill," she explained. "I stayed overnight in the hospital with Ella because only one parent was allowed, even though James also wanted to stay."

Fortunately, Ella made a full recovery and was discharged in time for Christmas, enabling the family to spend the festive season at home. Last year Ola shared how she hopes to have more children in the future after turning to IVF for Ella.

"I would love to have more children if it happens naturally, if it doesn't I will go for another IVF, yes," the dancer explained on GB News. "It's really hard because you don't know who to turn to. Most of my friends used to get pregnant so easily," she added.

"I didn't understand why I wasn't getting pregnant. I was healthy, fit, I was a professional dancer. It's very hard and it's very hard to turn to someone because everyone was getting pregnant around me. But then when I went through IVF and I announced that I was going through IVF suddenly I found all those women coming up to me and going 'I did IVF', so suddenly there were a lot of women that I could talk to. It's still a subject that people don't want to talk about, unfortunately."
