Apprentice viewers were left feeling uneasy after noticing the candidates handling food without any gloves on.

In the recent Thursday night episode, Lord Alan Sugar challenged the teams to make miniature cheesecakes for a corporate event. The girls tried to impress London Dungeons, while Innocent smoothies was the target for the boys. Both teams wore hairnets, and the boys even sported masks over their beards, but there weren't any gloves in sight.

Karren Brady looked visibly disturbed as she watched the boys mishandle the ingredients of their cheesecakes, whose biscuit bases crumbled. Viewers were also put off.

Another viewer seemed nauseated and said: "The not wearing the gloves while mixing the cream cheese for the cheesecakes is making me want to vomit." Someone else agreed, posting a vomiting emoji and voicing: "Why does he not have gloves on."

"GLOVES!? GLOVES!? HAND MIXING!? NO GLOVES!?!? #TheApprentice," another fan penned. And another added: "Why are these boys not wearing gloves," adding a sick face emoji.

The Apprentice will be back on BBC One and BBC iPlayer next Thursday at 9pm.
