Vanessa Feltz 'mortified' as ex Ben Ofoedu publicly calls out 'lack of support'
Ben Ofoedu's remarks about his ex Vanessa Feltz are being described as 'like rubbing salt in the wound'.
Last month, Vanessa confessed that she finally felt "settled enough" to spend her first night alone after breaking up with her fiance Ben Ofoedu in February 2023. However, the 61 year old, who ended things with Phats and Small singer Ben, 51, after finding out he had been unfaithful, has faced further embarrassment.
Vanessa is said to be feeling "mortified" after Ben publicly expressed his desire to date her friend Ulrika Jonsson and criticised Vanessa for ignoring him during a night out with his alleged new girlfriend. According to relationship expert Annabelle Knight, Ben's sometimes casual attitude towards their relationship could reopen old wounds for Vanessa.

"It's like rubbing salt in the wound. She's spent a year cleaning, bandaging and sterilising her wounds, and she literally comes out and says, 'OK, the bandages are off, I'm about healed,' and then this happens."

A source also revealed that Vanessa won't let this situation pull her back into a negative space. They shared: "Vanessa is embarrassed and mortified by his comments, but she's in a really good place. She just wants it all to go away now and she won't want to go backwards."

He was there with his new girl, TV star Precious Muir, who's 34. Even though someone said Vanessa didn't know Ben was there, he posted online the next day: "Reportedly, she saw me and it's a shame she didn't come up and say hello."
Ben got people talking again when he chatted with ex-Apprentice guy Ryan-Mark Parsons. He made a joke about always answering his messages online, saying: "I always reply to all my DMs, that's why I'm in this trouble," and talked about fancying famous ladies Sheridan Smith and Ulrika Jonsson.

Ulrika, who's 56, was one of the first to support Vanessa when they split up. Annabelle said: "It's humiliating for him to talk about people like Ulrika and Sheridan.
"As the ex-partner, you start to ask, 'How long did they feel like that? Have they thought about them when we had sex? You can quickly spiral into that thought process. It doesn't matter whether you're a celebrity, the hurt is still the same. But a celebrity has to play out their hurt in public for everyone to see, and everyone to have an opinion on."
