Love Island's Joanna breaks down in tears as tensions rise around the fire pit

Love Island’s Joanna Chimonides breaks down in tears in tonight’s All Stars episode after a game takes a dark turn.

In a first look clip, the islanders are tasked with revealing what they really think of each other in challenge ‘All Stars Couple Goals’. And the group are set to turn on Joanna and Chris Taylor, who she has been coupled up with. It comes after Joshua Ritchie gets a text which says: “Islanders, tonight you have a chance to reveal what you really think of each other in All Stars Couple Goals #RealTalk #NoHoldingBack.”

Holding back is something they definitely don’t do when it comes to questions such as ‘which couple has the least chemistry’ and ‘which couple is the most one-sided?’ As Casey O’Gorman says: “That’s an easy one”, the board held up by the group says the names ‘Chris and Jo’.

Although Jo ended it with Chris last night saying she needed to take a step back and has now set her sights on getting close to Callum Jones, she doesn’t take kindly to the backlash and hit back: “There’s nothing really else to say. The fact I’m exploring something else doesn’t mean that we didn’t have sexual chemistry, that we didn’t have anything like that.”

Tensions are set to rise around the fire pit when Casey O’Gorman jumps in and says: “If you wanted to defend about the sexual chemistry, you should have said it then.” Though it seems like any chance of romance between him and Jo are over, a defensive Chris says: “We’re allowed a bit of time to think about how we feel about things,” to which Casey hits back: “Yeah chill out, f***ing hell.”

Chris is then accused of “piping up way too much” and “p***ing people off”. “What do you mean? Because I’m defending this situation,” he asks. The clip then cuts to Jo who helds her head in her hands as Chris comforts her. She is heard saying: “I f***ing hate this game.”

It comes after Chris’s loved ones described the last episode of as "a tough one to watch," amid some backlash towards him following events in the villa.

Chris' loved ones - who are believed to be running his social media accounts whilst he's away - reacted to the episode in a post on this morning and wrote: "A tough one to watch for our Chris, especially as his family and friends know he has so much to give. His humour is just another wonderful part of him that we love. Hopefully someone will realise that it's just him as a person and another reason to love him."
