Tommy Fleetwood has become the latest TGL star to be assigned to one of the innovative golf setup's teams, with the Englishman being unveiled as a Los Angeles Golf Club player.

Fleetwood's spot on the L.A. roster was confirmed on Wednesday, as he joins fellow PGA Tour players Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, and countryman Justin Rose to complete the roster. Welcoming the recently-crowned Dubai Invitational champion, the LAGC President said: "We are delighted to welcome Tommy Fleetwood to the Los Angeles Golf Club family.

"Tommy's exceptional skill on the course and his dedication to the game align perfectly with our values and commitment to promoting golf at the highest level."

Fleetwood - who has 11 worldwide wins to his name - initially joined the TGL setup last October, three months ahead of its initial planned launch date. In December, the simulator league - founded by Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods - was dealt a major blow, after their SoFi Center stadium in Palm Beach was heavily damaged.

This led to organisers cancelling the league's maiden season planned to start this January, pushing the launch date back 12 months. This has given those involved more time to bed in their franchises, with Fleetwood's L.A. move coming this week.

Pleased with his new team, the Ryder Cup star said: "I am thrilled to join Los Angeles Golf Club and be part of a community that shares my passion for the game. The club's commitment to fostering talent and promoting the sport aligns with my own values, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead."

Fleetwood's LAGC announcement came just days after his fellow Englishman Tyrrell Hatton was wiped from the TGL roster on the back of his move to LIV Golf. All traces of Hatton and his player profile have been removed from the league's website, leaving another gap on their roster.

Hatton is not the only LIV star to quit TGL, having followed in the footsteps of his new teammate Jon Rahm. In November, Rahm announced he had opted to give up the chance to play on the simulator circuit, but at the time made no reference to a potential move to LIV Golf.

Just over a month later the Spanish star's record-breaking £450 million move to the breakaway league was confirmed, and he has since lured in his Ryder Cup partner in Hatton to complete his Legion XIII team. Fleetwood himself also confirmed last month that he had received an offer from LIV bosses in the offseason but opted to turn it down.
