Diablo 4 Hotfix 1 tweaks Lunar Awakening ahead of 1.3.2 patch notes drop
Diablo 4’s community manager has teased the next big update coming to Season of the Construct, as well as the reason behind the various recent hotfix rollouts.
Diablo 4 can seemingly never catch a break. After fumbling the trust of fans with wild character class balance changes back during the Season of the Malignant days, things looked to be getting back on track with the arrival of Diablo 4 Season 2, otherwise known as Season of Blood. Well, now it’s Diablo 4 Season 3 that’s caused fans to critique and lambast the game, largely due to a poorly thought-out endgame that Activision Blizzard has been forced to course-correct.
Things seemed to be looking up thanks to the launch of Diablo 4’s latest limited-time Lunar Awakening event, which populated dungeons with new shrine types and brought 50% bonus XP chances and faster movement speed. There are still some niggles as detailed by the patch notes for Diablo 4 Season 3’s hotfix 1. Aside from various big fixes to address monster wave spawns and the Lunar Awakening questline not appearing for some players, the hotfix ups “The reputation reward caches with appropriate world tier qualities” to make them more worthwhile.
Global Community Development Director Diablo, Adam Fletcher, shared in a Twitter post that this would be the first of many hotfixes coming to Diablo 4 in the coming days. However, he also let slip that the Diablo 4 patch notes for update 1.3.2 will be dropping on Friday, ahead of them taking effect next week. Until then, Activision Blizzard has another hotfix “Planned for tomorrow with some additional changes”.
