Love Island fans divided as they 'feel bad' for Chris Taylor after brutal dump

Love Island's Chris Taylor was left heartbroken on Wednesday's episode when Joanna Chimonides revealed she wanted to get to know Callum Jones instead.

After telling some of the girls that Chris had given her the "ick", Joanna called Callum for a chat, and they both admitted they were interested in each other. Later, Joanna told Chris she wanted to get to know Callum and thought Chris had a "sarcastic" personality that didn't quite match with hers. Fans on X, formerly Twitter, quickly commented on the awkward moment, with one writing: "Poor Chris, hope he finds someone who accepts him for who he is #AllStars #loveisland."

Another added: "I actually just teared up at Chris just now, everyone always says you have a banging personality but in the end that isn't enough for them (I know how he feels) #LoveIsland," A third wrote: "I feel so bad for Chris! He seems like such a sweet person, and none of the girls he's shown an interest in seem to understand who he is."

However, not everyone was sympathetic, with some saying it was "karma" for how he treated Arabella Chi earlier in the series. "Chris getting payback for how he treated Arabella. Karma coming quick this time. #AllStars #LoveIslandAllStars #Loveisland," a viewer tweeted.

Another said: "Have you forgotten what you did to Arabella Chris? It's not one rule for you....! #AllStars #LoveIsland." The drama unfolded after Tuesday's episode of Love Island All Stars ended with a surprise exit, leaving fans shocked as Kaz Kamwi was sent home.

Before the big moment, the islanders got a text telling them to gather around the fire pit, hinting at the night's excitement. Newcomers Joe Garratt and twins Jess and Eve Gale were told they could pick their partners first, making everyone wonder who would stay.

In the end, it was season seven's Kaz who had to say goodbye. Kaz shared with the cameras: "I feel like my journey came to a natural end as I didn't find a romantic connection but I made some amazing friends. I've had a great experience and I'm content that it was my time to go."
