Love Island's Arabella Chi squeals 'oh God' as her ex enters villa in huge twist

Love Island All Stars' Arabella Chi was in for an awkward surprise on Wednesday night as she was reunited with her ex.

During the latest episode, international superstar Craig David took over the villa with an incredible VIP performance. However, the Islanders got more than they bargained for when former 2018 contestant Wes Nelson appeared on stage to perform his new track Abracadabra featuring Craig, 42.

2019 contestant Arabella previously dated fellow Love Island star Wes but the two split in 2020 after nine months. Upon seeing her ex, the Islanders called out to Arabella: "It's your ex!"

To which a laughing Arabella squealed: "Oh God! Well that's awkward isn't it!" Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react as one person said: "LOOOL ARABELLA SEEING WES #loveisland" with crying emojis, a different account put: "WES!! Omg forgot he's Arabella's ex #LoveIsland" while another added: "WES NELSON HELPP ARABELLA #LoveIsland."

Elsewhere, another wrote: "hahahahahaha wes is arabella’s ex #loveisland", a different account put: "Wow, Oh my God, so Arabella also got history with Wes, this is hilarious #LoveIsland" while another added: "Wes performing in front of his Ex Arabella ‼️ #LoveIsland" with laughing emojis.

Later in the Beach Hut, Arabella admitted: "I'm going to say, it was quite a surprise! But I have to be honest with you, I'd much prefer him performing and leaving than him being a bombshell. It was a bit of a silver lining this evening!"

Talking to the girls, Arabella said: "Well, that was an eventful night, girls! I mean, I expected bombshells to walk through the door, I didn't expect my ex! I was really enjoying Craig David and all of a sudden, there's my ex! I actually really like his new song, I'm not going to lie! I actually think his song's good!"
