Reason Travis Kelce's mum won't be in Taylor Swift's Super Bowl LVIII VIP suite
Travis Kelce’s mother Donna will be in attendance at Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday - but she won’t be in a luxury suite with Taylor Swift due to the inflated costs.
Donna became an NFL fan favourite for her role in the buildup to Super Bowl LVII 12 months ago, a game which pitted Travis against Philadelphia Eagles center Jason as the duo became the first brothers in league history to face off in the big game. Donna has since been thrust back into the public spotlight recently, as she has often been seen sitting alongside Swift as she cheers on the Kansas City Chiefs from the stands.
The internet has been going wild ever since rumours surfaced regarding Swift’s romantic connection to Kelce in September. The NFL has also been very excited by her appearances at games alongside Kelce’s family, leading to increased viewership and a surge in merch sales.

Since attending her first Chiefs game back in September, Swift has become something of a permanent fixture among the suites both at Arrowhead Stadium and on the road. It appears the pop icon is going to make it to the Big Game despite a concert in Japan the night before, but she may be forced to join Donna and the family in the stands.

“You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multi-million dollars so I have a feeling I am not in a box, I am in the stands,” Donna said on the TODAY show. “As far as I know I am in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”
The cost of suites are ridiculous for the first Super Bowl in Las Vegas. They range in price from $180,000 for four tickets to $1.8million for 20 tickets, although those prices have dropped in recent days; prices previously reached as high as $2.5m.

She is preparing to cheer her youngest son on in his fourth Super Bowl in five seasons - and his second in a row as the Chiefs look to emulate the 2004-05 New England Patriots.
“It's going to be a dream - to go back-to-back like this, I'm really excited,” Donna added. “Last year was pretty much working the whole time but it was a blast. I got to see things and do things and be at places I had never been to.
“But this year I am going to take it a little easier except for the game. I'm going to see some shows and go to some great restaurants.”
The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in a rematch of Super Bowl LIV - where Patrick Mahomes led Kansas City to an epic 31-20 victory - on Sunday 11 February.
