Shoppers rave over anti-ageing serum that's 'like Botox' and has 50% off

Beauty buffs have been heaping praise on an anti-ageing product they say is better than high-end creams. Usually £34, the Olay Regenerist 3 Point Lightweight Firming Serum has been reduced to £17 at Boots - but the deal is expected to end soon.

After trying the product, many customers claim their fine lines and wrinkles have improved, while others have been left impressed with the softness it gave their skin. The lightweight formula boasts a super-hydrating and rejuvenating ingredient list that includes pentapeptides, niacinamide and carob extract.

On the Boots website, where it has an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars, one person called the serum an 'alternative' to Botox. The shopper penned: "I have been using Olay Regenerist Serum for years!

"I'm not sure if it can reduce wrinkles but using it daily has certainly helped to protect my skin in the aging process! I'm now 63, looking a decade younger. Definitely an alternative to Botox, which has worked for me! Thank you Olay!"

Another happy reviewer said: "WOW! Either side my mouth is plumped and more smoothed out. How happy am I? All I can say is I am so happy I bought it. I think the price is great for the results are fantastic and you can use it as an eye cream too! GO FOR IT!"

And a third wrote: "Have been using this as a day serum for nearly 10 years. It is great non greasy and keeps youthful and firm. Got it on offer in the boots sale."

However, some reviewers said they didn't see any changes to their skin, with one writing: "Didn’t make much difference price could be a bit cheaper."

Another product from Olay's Regenerist skincare range is a best-selller at Amazon. In a five-star review, one said of the product: "Purchased this serum after being recommended by my mum. Am 44 and didn't have too many deep wrinkle but lots of fine lines, after 3 weeks the wrinkles and fine lines have been dramatically reduced and my skin looks fuller and younger."
