Anton Danyluk is set to be reunited with Craig David in the Love Island: All Stars villa on tonight's episode, after being left teary-eyed over the singer they met four years ago.

The islander, now 29, seemed emotional when the singer-songwriter, now 42, entered the villa to perform at a party during Anton's first stint on Love Island back in 2019. The scene in the fifth series attracted attention at the time and the pair are due to be reunited on the ITV2 spin-off series in tonight's episode. It has been teased ahead of the broadcast that viewers will see Craig head into the villa in South Africa once again for a "VIP performance".

A teaser for the upcoming episode, released by ITV, states that Anton gets a text which reads: "Islanders, it's time to get glam because tonight the villa will host a VIP performance from an International Superstar. #Rewind #FillMeIn."

The villa is said to go "wild" over the announcement, with it having also been teased that "super fan" Anton screams out the name of MOBO award winner following the text. Craig makes his long-awaited return to the villa afterwards.

ITV said: "Later that night, international superstar [Craig] makes his long awaited return to the Love Island villa. With an epic performance that will go down in Love Island history, [he] puts on quite the show for the Islanders."

Craig once spoke about Anton whilst on the Jonathan Ross Show in 2019, shortly after his performance in the villa. He recalled later meeting Anton, who he described as a "lovely guy," whilst out in Ibiza following Love Island that year.

He said: "[Anton] came out to show love and he was the same [...] but really humble. He was like 'listen Craig, I know everyone's sort of saying I shed a tear but I'm just a huge fan of you and I just had to tell you I just love your music'."

Anton has also reflected on meeting Craig, whom he's described as his "idol," in the villa. He spoke about the experience whilst rewatching clips from his first stint on Love Island with his mother Sherie Ann Danyluk recently.

Whilst looking at footage from Craig's performance, Anton said: "Oh, I've got goosebumps. I love him. It was a banger as well that song [When You Know What Love Is]. I just love him. I can't believe I'm dancing like that to be fair."

He went on to tell his mum that after the performance he was called to the beach hut and bumped into Craig on the way. Anton said: "[They want] your reaction straight away in the moment. So I go up to the beach hut and as I came through the bedroom doors, Craig David's standing there."

Anton said that the performer "smiled and he put his fist out," adding: "I fist-bumped him and then ran back. And then went up to the Beach Hut. It was mad but he obviously appeared the fact that... he could see my reaction."

Asked if he would feel the same again if he reunited with Craig, Anton told his mum in the recently-shared video: "Oh, yeah! Absolutely. I think he's a great artist. His music's amazing. I love the way he's turned his career around."

Love Island: All Stars continues tonight on ITV2 and ITVX from 9pm. You can catch up on previous episodes of the spin-off series through the streaming platform now.
