Christine Lampard’s Marks & Spencer cashmere jumper is ‘perfect’ for all seasons

Christine Lampard is certainly one of ITV’s fashion icons, and she has proved that with several stunning ensembles on telly.

Back in October 2022, the 45-year-old presenter wowed fashion fans as she stood in for Lorraine Kelly on her titular show, Lorraine, wearing a Marks & Spencer cashmere jumper. She paired the knit with a sequin skirt from Topshop and nude court heels.

A must for any wardrobe, a cashmere jumper might be loved in winter, but its beautiful lightness means it works wonders all year round. Christine’s M&S piece is knitted from pure cashmere for luxurious softness, and is cut to a regular fit. Costing £85, it has a flattering crew neckline as well as trims along the hem and cuffs. There are 16 colours to choose from - including the TV star’s khaki-green version.

Sharing her high-street look to Instagram, Christine wrote in a caption: "Happy Thursday! Back tomorrow for my final stint of the week on @lorraine top from @marksandspencer skirt from @topshop."

Her post quickly racked up a number of glowing comments, with one saying: "Love that outfit, though everything looks good on you," and another adding: "You always look so elegant! Love this outfit."

The ITV star's Pure Cashmere Crew Neck Jumper is available in sizes six to 24 and can be purchased at marksandspencer.com. Christine’s ‘Khaki Marl' colour is sold out in most sizes, but you can find other fabulous shades, including pink, blue and black.

Thousands of shoppers have praised the knit on the M&S website, with someone saying: “Absolutely love everything about my new cashmere jumper - it’s a lovely colour & the fit is perfect,” but some weren’t completely impressed. One person said of the jumper: “Poor fit around the neck, it was loose. Shame as it was a lovely colour.”

A similar option at a lower price is The White Company’s Layering Crew Neck Jumper, which is now on sale for £77, reduced from £110.
