Vick Hope has denied she is expecting her first child with Calvin Harris after she sparked speculation in a recent photo from the 2024 Grammys.

Vick, 34, ignited rumours she was expecting her first baby with husband Calvin on Wednesday night, when she shared a series of snaps taken as she and the DJ got ready for the A-list ceremony. In one image, Vick posed on her own in a sparkly gown, with her hand placed tenderly over her stomach. The picture caused the Radio 1 star’s followers to wonder if it was in fact a subtle pregnancy announcement.

"I do hope that is a tinee baby bump as someone said," one Instagram user commented underneath Vick’s post on 6th February, with another adding: "Wedding band and holding her stomach although a very slim one. Oh I pray this is for real because these 2 are a power couple and this brings me joy." A third asked: "Baba incoming ???"

However, Vick has since denied the speculation on Instagram. The star was replying to a supportive social media user who called on others to stop commenting on women's bodies. Vick said: "Yep just placing my hand on my tummy! I think I was smoothing my dress or checking my post-brekkie bloat or something, but thank you all for all the lovely messages!" The fan had said: "Stop asking if it’s a baby announcement! She looks unreal! No wonder 99% of women are body conscious."

Vick and Calvin - whose real name is Adam Richard Wiles - made a rare public appearance together at the Grammys, with the couple both going on to break their rule of not posting pictures of each other on social media. "Hehehe we went to the Grammys!" Vick captioned a snap of herself and Calvin on the red carpet shared with her Instagram followers, with her husband posting the same picture on his page and writing: "Grammy night with the wife!"

The DJ and Calvin tied the knot last summer in Ibiza, where the Scottish musician owns a farm. "Calvin and Vick have kept their relationship out of the public eye for the most part, so aren't having a massive wedding to parade their love in front of the world,” a source told The Sun in August ahead of the ceremony. "Instead they want it to be a much more intimate and simple day. They have been planning it for months and everything is now coming together."

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Vick and Calvin surprised fans back in May 2022, when they made their debut as a couple at the Chelsea Flower Show - with their engagement revealed the following day. Vick and the One Kiss hitmaker had been dating for a few months prior to going public with their romance.

Calvin popped the question at his beloved farm in Ibiza a few weeks before the pair stepped out together for the first time. "Calvin proposed to Vick under his favourite tree on his farm Terra Masia in Ibiza," an insider added to the outlet. "Vick said yes immediately, she is madly in love with Calvin and could not be any happier."

Vick - who co-hosts an afternoon show on Radio 1 with Jordan North - had even been wearing her huge engagement ring for a few weeks without anyone noticing and her happy news was “an open secret” among her colleagues. Speaking earlier this year, Vick explained why she likes to keep her relationship out of the spotlight. She told Cosmopolitan magazine: "I think there's something about my relationship that feels so sacred... it's protection. We're protecting ourselves, protecting our energy."
