Celine Dion's thoughts explained amid Taylor Swift’s ‘snub’ at the Grammys
Taylor Swift was the main focus of the Grammy Awards as she announced a new album and broke a record - but she also seemed to ignore one of the biggest names in music history.
Celine Dion made a surprise appearance at the awards show amid her recent health struggles. The My Heart Will Go On singer was diagnosed with Stiff-Person syndrome, a rare neurological disease that affects her ability to move.
But she was glowing as she earned a standing ovation at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday as she appeared to present the final award of the night - Album of the Year, which went to Taylor Swift for her album Midnights.

An insider told Page Six that Celine was able to shake it off, though. "I don’t think Céline cared and they talked backstage afterwards," they said. "But Céline was just gracious and happy to be there,” the insider added, “Of course, the right thing would have been for Taylor to acknowledge her, like Adele did years ago.”
In 2017, Celine presented the award for Song of the Year and Adele was announced the winner for her song Hello. As Adele approached Celine, she made an "I'm not worthy" hand motion to the singer and hugged her.
The insider added that backstage various celebrities flocked to Celine's dressing room. She reportedly was "just riffing" with Stevie Wonder and spoke to Oprah Winfrey.

"She has good days and bad days...it's a painful disease, but it's not a death sentence," they continued, "She’s clearly capable of doing things and she wanted to show everyone that she’s back. She looked fantastic. The hope is that she will be able to perform.”
After Celine announced her illness, she was forced to cancel a world tour and the illness might be the reason why Taylor "ignored" Celine. "I'm willing to bet that Taylor was told not to touch Celine Dion. Stiff person syndrome can be triggered by noise, stress, and touch," someone wrote on Twitter.
