Geri and Christian's controversial romance sparked in-law feud and wedding ban
Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner's romance did not get off to the best of starts.
The Spice Girl is standing by her man after he denied claims of "inappropriate behaviour" towards a female colleague, and it's not the first storm they've weathered together.
Horner is under investigation after a female Red Bull Racing colleague levied accusations against him. The 50-year-old, who has led the team since 2005, has strongly denied the allegation and remains in his post while the claims against him are investigated.
Geri, who married the Formula 1 boss in 2015, has been in "floods of tears" all weekend, according to a source. They told The Sun: "She is insisting Christian has done nothing wrong."
Her unwavering loyalty comes after their marriage got off to a tricky start when Christian was forced to choose between Geri and his parents, who were against their union. The Sunday Mirror revealed in 2015 that his mum and dad were devastated when their son left his partner, Beverley Allen, and later started seeing Geri.

Speaking from their home in Gloucestershire, one of Christian's angry relatives said at the time: "You can say that his parents are absolutely devastated. We won't be going to the wedding."
A friend of the couple also said at the time: "Over the years Christian has been very close to his parents – particularly to his dad who shares his love of motor racing – but recent events have thrown everything into doubt. His mum is particularly upset.
"It's a real shame and everyone involved is upset. Weddings are expected to bring families closer together, but this engagement has driven a wedge between people."
However following the Mirror story, Geri reached out to the concerned relatives and Christian reportedly resolved his differences with his ex. Sources at the time said he hoped the truce between the pair would help convince his parents he had "done the right thing", nd allow them to accept his new love into the family.
A pal said: "It has been a very messy break-up and Beverley is eager to put it all behind her. She's pleased they've come to an agreement, and Christian is clearly keen to patch things up with his parents."
Geri and Christian first met in 2009 thanks to Geri's friendship with F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone. But just six months after Olivia was born in October 2014, Christian went public with his relationship with Geri, and in November 2014, they announced their engagement in The Times newspaper.

These days, Geri is believed to have a good relationship with her in-laws, who she has holidayed with. She is also said to have a good relationship with Christian's ex for the sake of their children.
The mum, who has a daughter Bluebell Madonna from a previous relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi, welcomed her first child with Christian in 2017, a son named Montague George Hector Horner.
The couple and their kids now share two stunning country homes in Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire - with one boasting its own duck pond and farm with three miniature donkeys, goats, plus stables for 14 horses.

Geri previously described her husband as her best friend, saying: "He knows me inside out. I don't edit myself with him. It was a big learning curve." Meanwhile, Christian previously told The Telegraph that they "complement" each other.
Meanwhile, the Austria-based Red Bull parent company confirmed on Monday that it has hired external help to investigate the allegation made against Horner. A statement read: "After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation.
"This process, which is already underway, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time."
