Amazon Firesticks have grown in popularity over recent years, with the handy devices simply plugging into TVs and allowing fast access to streaming services in full HD. Users can watch the likes of Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, so long as they've taken out a subscription.

Many people have used jailbroken-style Fire TV Sticks to illegally watch Sky TV and other channels for free. This basically allows homes to watch premium channels such as Sky Sports and Cinema without paying any monthly subscription fees.

Along with being highly illegal, police have previously warned that users could be putting themselves at risk of cybercrime with unofficial streams and devices often coming loaded with rel="Follow" target="_blank">'Freevee' is run by Amazon and offers a selection of digital movies and TV shows for no additional cost.
