Virgin Media adds 100 channels to Stream plan, and it's free for broadband users
Choosing the right TV package for your household can be a tricky feat, ensuring everyone has access to their favourite binge-worthy series, Friday-night programme or the right footy channels for a Saturday kick-off.
Now, all Virgin Media customers can add 100 extra channels when they stream.

To make the most of this new offer you'll need to have one of its nifty Stream boxes where you'll find a new range of HD channels, more +1 options, a bigger 'My Watchlist' to click into, and a new red button function (if you're a Virgin TV 360 or Stream Sky Sport customer).
And it won't cost you a penny extra if you're already locked into a Virgin Media broadband plan, as it's free for all existing customers. If not, the binge-worthy upgrade may convince you to upgrade your broadband package. To make it even better, there are still a few hours left of the provider's ongoing winter sale, with as much as £270 to save.
The biggest saving amount is on its Mega Volt Broadband bundle which has dropped to £70 a month instead of its usual £85 a month rate. The Mega Volt plan includes M500 Fibre broadband, more than 230 channels including Sky Cinema and Sky Sport, a standard Netflix plan and an unlimited O2 SIM.

The freebie streaming service is available for all broadband customers to tap into, and while you won't pay anything extra per month to use it, it does come with a one-off £35 activation fee - something to bear in mind. Since the rise of rival streaming services, like Amazon Prime Video, it's a free service that may stand out to households.
