Amazon’s Prime Video has unveiled the release date and first-look images for the hotly anticipated return of Clarkson’s Farm. The hit docuseries – starring former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson – returns for a third season later this year, as Jeremy and co face yet more challenges on Diddly Squat farm.

Prime Video has promised audiences can expect in-depth, authentic, and unexpected trials and tribulations as Jeremy, Lisa, Kaleb, Gerald, and Cheerful Charlie tackle the ever-unpredictable world of British farming. Clarkson’s Farm season three will launch on Friday, May 3, exclusively on Prime Video.

It will be available to stream with an Amazon Prime subscription, which usually costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year and comes with a host of benefits like next day delivery, Amazon Music Prime, Deliveroo Plus and free delivery on HelloFresh orders for a year – while Prime Video alone can be joined for £5.99 a month.

The third series of Clarkson’s Farm will find Diddly Squat facing some daunting challenges involving failing crops, sky high supply prices and the potential closure of the farm shop. Jeremy also has his dreams for the beloved restaurant dashed and is forced to come up with creative new ways of making ends meet.

The host hatches a plan to turn a profit from hundreds of acres of unfarmed land – thick woodland and hedgerows that make up half of the Oxfordshire farm, which triggers an avalanche of Clarkson-crafted schemes involving everything from goats and pigs to mushrooms, nettles and deer. Elsewhere, someone new arrives at Diddly Squat, which puts Kaleb’s nose out of joint – as well as the returning characters all working to help Jeremy’s farming ambitions come to fruition.

In the first-look images from the new season, Kaleb is seen standing alongside Jeremy who is holding a piglet. In another snap, the host is joined by his partner Lisa Hogan, Kaleb, Gerald Cooper and Charlie Ireland as the cast stand around a table in woodland.

Season three comes a year after the show’s previous instalment, which became Prime Video’s most-watched original series in the UK at the time of its launch in February 2023. Prime Video has already confirmed that Clarkson’s Farm will return for a fourth season, with production already underway.

It comes as Clarkson’s other hit Prime Video show, The Grand Tour, is set to return on February 16 for its penultimate episode. The third episode of its fifth series – titled Sand Job – will see Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May reunite in the remote African country of Mauritania, following in the footsteps of the legendary Paris-Dakar rally.
