The temperature in the Love Island villa is set to rise with Joe Garratt about to return for a huge comeback.

The 27-year-old hunk shot to fame on the fifth series of the dating show in 2019 and he's going back in for some more. He will hope for better luck this time after he lasted 16 days during his first stint. He looks likely to reunite with his former series five co-star Anton Danyluk.

The reality star is said to be feeling "pure nerves and butterflies," ahead of his villa comeback. He will of course take another couple down and this time he will be keen to steal the stage after having to compete with the likes of Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins last time.

Joe was remembered for his romance with Lucie Donlan but things didn't last. The couple split after the long-distance between London and Cornwall proved too hard to navigate. She then got engaged to series six star Luke Mabbott, but her ex Joe is single and looking for someone special.

"Joe was a big part of his series, but his story was slightly dwarfed by the fact he was alongside such iconic characters as Molly-Mae and Maura," a source told The Sun. "But since leaving the villa he’s really carved a niche doing content for brands and remained at the heart of the show - he’s dubbed the ‘social rep’ because he literally knows everyone."

Could he cause waves with the guys, too? On Sunday's instalment of the ITV2 dating show, viewers were left confused when Callum Jones was seen rolling his eyes at fellow islander and friend, Chris Taylor. Callum appeared to roll his eyes at Chris in the bedroom after the charismatic islander shouted "good morning" to his fellow islanders before going on to make more noise.

After Chris' over-the-top good morning message, the cameras cut to Callum who appeared to roll his eyes at Chris - and it didn't go unnoticed by viewers who flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts. "Not Callum rolling his eyes at Chris! He's so real for that," joked one viewer. "I'm not gonna lie, I would be rolling my eyes at Chris too. He's too much sometimes," another echoed. "I'd be doing more than rolling my eyes at Chris. He needs to shut up," someone else complained.

"Callum is so chill and Chris is the complete opposite! Of course he's going to get annoyed now and then when someone is being so obnoxious and loud," someone else suggested. "Callum rolling his eyes at Chris is so real and valid," another added. The drama didn't end there however, as the explosive episode also saw Georgia Steel brand herself a "snake" on as last night's show as the truth about her feelings were exposed on Love Island.
