Love Island's Arabella Chi’s family break silence over Toby Aromolaran drama
Arabella Chi’s family have spoken out after Toby Aromolaran reduced her to tears on Love Island: All Stars.
Tensions flared in the villa in scenes that aired on Friday night after 24-year-old Toby opted to couple up with 25-year-old Georgia Steel - effectively dumping 32-year-old Arabella. The reality star - who was a contestant on season five of Love Island black in 2019, who went on to be romantically linked with Leonardo DiCaprio - then exploded into tears as she felt she had been mugged off by the semi-professional footballer.
The other female contestants tried in vain to comfort Arabella - and even Georgia herself burst into tears as she feared she would be vilified for the fact Toby had chosen to dump Arabella in favour of her. While the two love rivals agreed neither was to blame for their predicament, Arabella’s confidence was left in tatters and she questioned if she was “good enough”.

Taking to Instagram, relatives of the TV star wrote: "So proud of Arabella for sticking up for herself. Was Having a chat with her mum saying we were happy she hadn't sworn on it but we think it's allowed here. It's so hard seeing Arabella cry and not being able to be there for her. Very grateful for all the girls in there and all of the lovely messages she's getting on Instagram."
TV fans have flooded social media with comments in support of Arabella - with many slamming Toby for his tactics. One viewer wrote on X: "Say what you like about Arabella but the boys in that villa have treated her unfairly and no one deserves that." Another wrote: "Don’t like Arabella but that was f**king sly on her, specially since they’ve done stuff." And another wrote: "Sorry but even if you really don’t like her, #Arabella did not deserve that. That is savage."

Fans have also speculated that Toby opted to ditch Arabella and couple up with Georgia in the hope he will last longer in the villa. Earlier in the week, the public voted for their favourite couples - with Georgia and 24-year-old Tom Clare being voted second favourite of the group.

One fan commented online: "Toby saw he was in the bottom with Arabella from the public vote so now he’s moving back to Georgia S." And another said: "Interesting Toby likes Georgia after she came second in the vote."
