Jennifer Lopez is heading out on a money-spinning tour - and plotting a return to Las Vegas for a new residency.

J-Lo has committed to go out on the road to mark her 25 years as a pop artist in the next year. The actress, entertainer and philanthropist is likely to earn over $225m from shows at arenas and some stadia. The 54-year-old is also poised to return to Las Vegas at The Park MGM Theater in Sin City for a residency.

Insiders say that J-Lo "plans to bring the party to the stage and celebrate her quarter of a century at the top of the charts." The tour will be announced in the next few days. Insiders say that Lopez is looking at expanding her US run into a full scale global tour, which would be her first full planetary scale concert for over a decade.

She is also understood to be considering filming a behind the scenes documentary on her experience, which could earn her millions as a standalone film. The mother of two is closing in on a deal with The Park Theatre, the same spot where Lady Gaga and Cher have residencies, even though she famously worked for rival Caesars Entertainment in the past.

She was one of the city's hottest tickets with her All I Have residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino between 2016 and 2018. A music source, based in Las Vegas, confirmed: "Jennifer is hitting the road and out to show the world just what an amazing entertainer she is. She has been determined to go out and thank the fans for the support they have given her in recent years.

"Jennifer is so excited and has been planning this for a while. Centre of her mind is that will be a celebration and a party. Jennifer is in such a great head space and ready to play live. The US shows will come first and then she will work out what shows she wants to do elsewhere in the world. Her team are working out which International dates will work for her schedule."

Lopez enjoyed immediate success with her singing career with her debut studio album and debut single If You Had My Love in 1999. "It is the 25th anniversary since she ventured into the music industry after doing so well in the acting world. All the big hits from all the eras will be performed on stage so it will be a real trip down memory lane.

"Fans will love it and enjoy nostalgia with new and her old choreography. She wants it to be a family affair too with mums and daughters especially coming to celebrate her legacy." The source revealed that Lopez also has her sights on bringing that show to a resident’s spot at the Park, which is owned by MGM.

"Jennifer’s All I Have run was one of the biggest residences ever in Las Vegas. That was with Caesars Palace, but MGM have come in to get this new show to the Park Theater, The talks are ongoing with a real hope that she will be signed up and announced later this year. "It will be a real coup for The Park and a huge deal to have one of the biggest stars on the planet back in the city."

That deal could bring in the singer over $800k a night. The insider, who has confirmed details on other stars Vegas shows including Christina Agulera, noted that "J-Lo may also work on a film about the tour including a documentary element too.

"That deal could add tens of millions to her bank account. But it is still early days yet." Earlier in the month Lopez teased plans to hit the road for her first world tour in 12 years. The superstar, who is about to release her ninth album, This Is Me… Now, on February 16, teased her hopes od playing live this year t Apple Music 1:

"I kept telling my team, I was like, ‘You have to understand, I’m going to perform these songs. I’m going to bring them to life on stage." J-Lo has just released a new single Can't Get Enough, which made headlines for its accompanying music video.

She plays a serial bride, who marries three different men, including one portrayed by Dancing With The Stars’ judge Derek Hough. The spectacular is part of a bigger musical experience, which will air on Prime Video on February 16.
