Today Reading & Leeds Festival bosses have announced over 50 new artists for 2024.

These include Reneé Rapp, Only The Poets, Fontaines D.C., Denzel Curry, Pendulum, Neck Deep and Nia Archives who will join the six headliners, including UK festival exclusives Fred again.., Lana Del Rey and Blink-182, plus, Liam Gallagher, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Gerry Cinnamon.

They will also join the previously announced London-born hip-hop star 21 Savage, BRIT nomination record breaker RAYE, pioneering producer Skrillex, UK R&B icon Jorja Smith, dance music heavyweights The Prodigy, UK drill pioneer Digga D and one of the world’s most hyped young metal acts Spiritbox.

Over 240,000 visitors are expected to flock to the two festivals at Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds – making both Reading and Leeds the biggest UK festival which is dedicated just to music.

Liam Gallagher's performance will mark the 30th anniversary of Oasis' legendary album, Definitely Maybe and will see him perform some of his biggest hits, both as a solo artist and from Oasis' back catalogue. Speaking about his upcoming headline slot, Liam said: "I'm gonna be playing Reading & Leeds the most RnR festivals we have left in the UK. Be there or be square." Meanwhile, Fred again.. commented: "(It's) the only UK festival I'm playing next year and is the first festival I ever went to!"

Much to the shock of fans, Catfish and the Bottlemen will make a landmark return to the music industry. Sharing his excitement about headlining, Gerry Cinnamon exclaimed: "Reading and Leeds. The last time was absolutely f**king bananas. Was first gig straight out of lockdown, heavy emotional. Headlining now so we’ll take it up another level again. Buzzing to be back."

Announced today, the likes of Reneé Rapp, Arthur Hill, David Kushner and Kenya Grace will perform across the weekend. But that's not all, Fontaines D.C, Neck Deep, American Bleachers and The Last Dinner Party will join the mega line-up along with Pendulum. Rachel Chinouriri, who recently supported Louis Tomlinson on his nationwide tour will also take to the stage.

But when music lovers aren't moving around the arenas and various tents, they can indulge in some of the best pop-up food and vintage clothing stores.

This year, dance music will take centre stage across the weekend, with DJs such as Barry Can't Swim, Sonny Fodera and goddard. delivering electric sets. But if drum and bass is more your thing, A Little Sound is certainly going to get you in the mood.

More artists include indie singer-songwriter Matt Maltese, social media sensation Mackenzy Mackay, Australian metalcore band The Amity Affliction, pop-punk duo Loveless, rock sensation Mannequin Pussy and lead singer of American rock band The Neighborhood, Jesse.
