Patrick Mahomes has accused Justin Tucker of trying to 'get under our skin'.

This comes after a clash with the two-time MVP and Travis Kelce before the AFC Championship. The Kansas City Chiefs triumphed over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, winning 17-10 in the AFC Championship Game at M&T Bank Stadium.

Mahomes was outstanding, completing 30 of 39 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown. This victory sends the Chiefs to their fourth Super Bowl in five seasons, but Mahomes was annoyed by Tucker's pre-game antics. As players were warming up on the field in Baltimore, Kelce took issue with where Tucker chose to practice.

When Mahomes was throwing passes from the Ravens end zone where Tucker was set up, Kelce kicked away Tucker's teed-up ball and threw the rest of his practice balls off to the side. He even picked up Tucker's helmet and tossed it aside.

Patrick Mahomes called out Ravens kicker Justin Tucker for not moving during his warmup. Speaking to 610 Sports Radio, he said:"I've had seven years of doing that same warmup routine and there's only been like three occasions where there's been a kicker that wasn’t… moving out of the way. It was in Baltimore all three times."

He added that Tucker's actions were meant to annoy them, saying: "He does that to get under our skin. I asked him to move his stuff and he got up and moved it I think two inches but didn't move it out of the way. I was going to let it slide but Travis moved it for me and after that, I wasn't going to let him put it back down.

"I have a lot of respect for him as a player and as a kicker. He's one of the best kickers of all time, probably the best kicker of all time. At the same time, you've got to have respect for each team. We all share the field and we try to do that in a respectful way."

The NFL reported a strange incident before the official warm-up, where players are usually restricted to their own 45-yard lines. However, Tucker was seen in the end zone where Mahomes was warming up, without a kickoff tee, hinting he might have been trying for 110-yard field goals.

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes teamed up effectively, with Kelce leading the Chiefs in receiving with 11 catches for 116 yards and a score. He also surpassed Jerry Rice's NFL postseason record of 151 receptions. On the other hand, Baltimore lacked discipline during the AFC Championship, committing five costly personal fouls.

The Chiefs are set to face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, a rematch of Super Bowl LIV, on Sunday, Feb. 11.
