Real Wolf of Wall Street says he would put President Biden in a 'nursing home'

The real-life Wolf of Wall Street, Jordan Belfort, said he would put Biden “in a nursing home” before describing him as a “puppet”.

Speaking candidly with Piers Morgan, the world-famous Wall Street banker - who was depicted by Leonardo DiCaprio in the Oscar-winning epic - spoke about his love of former president Donald Trump, disdain for President Joe Biden, and hatred of the Barbie movie. “If he worked for me? I would put him in a nursing home, with all due respect,” the former stock broker said.

“I don’t even really think he’s President, he’s a cut out. It’s a puppet. I think everyone knows that … It's embarrassing. I have friends from all over the world, and they are like, ‘What’s wrong with your country?’ Like this is the President of the United States?” he added while appearing on TalkTV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Belfort denied that he was only critical of BIden because of his age, saying “My mom is 91 and she could run intellectual circles around most 50 year olds.” He said Biden is “not all there any more” meaning there was a need for a “real candidate” for the Democrats. “Who’s running things now? I’m not quite sure, I suspect it’s probably Obama and that whole crew still running things,” Belfort speculated wildly.

He meanwhile professed his love of Donald Trump, the controversy-ridden and, to many, disgraced former president. “He’s also an amazing marketer and promoter… One thing he has, is an uncanny sense of what the average person needs to hear,” Belfort responded when asked by Morgan whether Trump was the ultimate salesman.

“It’s unbelievable. Very big themes, very simple themes, repeating them again and again. And he must be the most resilient person I’ve ever met in my life.” He went on to bizarrely praise Trump’s ability to swat away scandals, which for many would spell the end of their career: “I thought when the whole thing with the ‘I touched their p***y’, I thought he was done and I was baffled when he didn’t even apologise and I watched his numbers go up!”

Belfort believes the world was a better place when Trump was president than it is today, crediting the 45th president for the lack of wars and claiming he got “killed by Covid”. Belfort thinks Trump was a “great president”, adding, “you can hate him or love him, but he speaks a lot of truth about these important issues that matter to the average person”.

He even avoided condemning the January 6th insurrection on Capitol Hill, denying it was an insurrection rather than a “moment of idiocy”. Belfort says Trump went “a little bit far… [but] democracy is more durable than that day”.

Later in the interview, Belfort discussed his former wrong-doings and accepted that his antics of the past would no longer be tolerated in the workplace. Morgan and Belfort also discussed the Barbie movie - which Belfort said was “horrendous” despite Margot Robbie being “incredibly talented”. He added: “Not because of the woke stuff, I just didn’t like the movie.”
